After collapsing on stage at a New York concert, singer-songwriter Lola Young has called off her upcoming appearances.
The Messy singer, 24, stated in an Instagram post that “I’m going away for a while.” I feel pressured to postpone everything for the near future.
“Thank you very much for your love and support.” I’m so sorry to let anyone who purchased a ticket to see me go. It hurts me even more.
You will obviously be able to get a full refund. Once I’ve worked on myself and come back stronger, I’m really hoping you’ll give me another chance. Lola x, love you all.
The star was thrown to the floor on Saturday as she performed at the Forest Hills Stadium’s All Things Go music festival, where she was being treated in a rush. When the incident occurred, the singer was singing Conceited.
The audience started euphoric as the stage was quickly cleared. Lola stated to her fans before the incident that it had “tough days” before collapsing. Sometimes you really feel as though you can’t continue living.
After Lola at the festival, American rapper Doechii, whose real name is Jaylah Hickman, performed the song and sparked a crowd’s rendition of “we love you Lola” in her honor.
She wasn’t feeling well tonight, and I’m so happy you guys were there to hold her up. “She’s an incredibly talented artist. Everyone, please let’s wish her the best of luck.
After canceling her previous concert due to mental health concerns, Lola returned emotionally.
When her manager, Nick Shymansky, announced via her Instagram story that she was canceling her performance for “a sensitive matter,” she was scheduled to play at Audacy’s We Can Survive concert at Newark’s Prudential Center.
He later said, “Lola is very open about her mental health, and occasionally my team and I have to take protective measures to keep her safe.”
He concluded by stating that “She is an incredible person who always takes her fans, career, and performances seriously.” I’m only able to express my sincere regret for the inconvenience caused.
I’m Only F****ing Myself, Lola’s third studio album, just came out, and she was scheduled to play dates in various parts of England and Scotland in October.
