To advance to the Northern Ireland Open final against Mark Allen or Judd Trump, Jack Lisowski compiled three centuries by defeating Zhou Yuelong 6-1.

On Saturday night, the world number one and Antrim player will face off in the second semi-final at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall.

With a 125 clearance and break of 124, England’s Lisowski added the next two frames.

Before the mid-session break, Lisowski had a 4-0 lead before the Chinese opponent had a one-hour lead, but a second 125-run run restored the 34-year-old’s four-frame advantage before he cruised to a comfortable victory in the seventh frame.

The 29-year-old world player, who has lost six of his final six games, is aiming for success in the first ranking event.

For the first time since March 2021, he lost to Donald Trump in the Gibraltar Open final. He will participate in a ranking event decider.

In addition to the semi-finals, Lisowski defeated Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and four-time world champion Mark Selby in the last 16.

While Allen won the NI Open twice in 2021 and 2022, Trump wants to win the fifth time.
