This Morning TV presenter Lisa Snowdon recently shared a quick skincare routine for her ‘slightly more mature skin’ with her followers, and it includes this radiance-boosting cream
If Lisa Snowdon’s seriously glowing, youthful-looking skin is anything to go by, her skincare recommendations are definitely worth paying attention to. The 53 year old regularly shares her product recommendations with her social media followers – including this popular neck serum, which we’ve also tried – and we always take note.
The This Morning presenter recently shared a short video of her current skincare routine on Instagram, captioned, ‘Little quick skincare self care Sunday’. “Having slightly more mature skin I’m all about the moisture!” she continues. “I do change my products depending on what I need, at the minute it’s all about maximum hydration.”
One product in particular that she used especially stood out to us as it’s from one of our favourite brands: Medik8 Daily Radiance Vitamin C, a skin-brightening moisturiser that also contains SPF 30. Even better, it’s currently part of a huge Medik8 sale, down by 20% from £60 to £48.

After applying BIOEFFECT EGF Hydrating Essence, £79, and BIOEFFECT EGF Serum, £135, Lisa then applied this popular Medik8 face cream – which has nearly 2,000 postive reviews online – which she calls “lovely, velvety and easily absorbed, and gives you that SPF 30 coverage”.
This daily moisturiser contains 7% vitamin C, which not only helps to brighten the skin but also provides antioxidant protection; some experts say that vitamin C may also help to amplify the benefits of SPF in a formula, too.
Lisa’s skin is certainly left glowing at the end of this short post – and it’s a hit with Medik8 shoppers too.
“Absolutely love this, really gives you a glow, especially with the vit c serum underneath,” one person wrote. “People keep asking what foundation I use recently but the only thing I’ve changed is this so it’s definitely working.”
“This vitamin C cream has become a staple in my morning skincare routine,” another agreed. “It has a light, silky texture that melts into the skin and provides a healthy glow without feeling greasy. After a few weeks of daily use, my complexion looks noticeably brighter and more even-toned.”
“I love, love, love this cream. It absorbs into my skin quickly not leaving any sticky residue which I hate, then when I look in the mirror in the my skin looks smoother, almost as though it has relaxed with my lines not so obvious,” a third five star review reads. “Unfortunately as the stresses and strains of the day occur this effect starts to wear off but I know I have it to look forward to the next time I use it.”
A very small handful of people with oily skin, however, did find it a bit too glowy for them. “I love the idea of combining vitamin C with SPF in one step however, I think this would be good for someone who maybe doesn’t already have oily skin but for me it was too greasy,” one person commented. “I have bought the Medik8 vitamin C separately and I will stick with my usual sunscreen for now.” You can also read our review of this new Medik8 vitamin C serum here.
