The actor has spoken out about the “mistakes” he’s made as he nears the age of 50 as Lily Allen exposes the details of her union to David Harbour with her “revengeance album” West End Girl.
In a new interview that was released in response to her cheating allegations, Lily Allen’s ex-boyfriend, David Harbour, has broken his silence to discuss his “regrets” in life. Following the release of her new album, West End Girl, which was inspired by their union, Lily Allen has been in everyone’s eyes.
Lily laid their relationship bare as she accused him of having an affair for three years of their romance with poignant tracks Tennis and Madeline appearing to detail with brutal honesty the cause for the end of their marriage. The album is her first in seven years and was recorded in just 10 days in the wake of her devastating split from the star last December.

Speaking to Esquire Spain for the November edition, in an interview ahead of the album’s release, David addressed whether there’s anything he would change in his life. He said: “That’s such a hard question – the question of regret, or something. I would change either everything or nothing.
You either completely accept your path and come to terms with the fact that even the ups and downs and mistakes are journey-related, and that there is truth and development, wisdom, and deeper connection and empathy in everything.
“It kind of feels like a house of cards because you kind of have to change something all the time.” He added that if he were to make changes, “everything” would be changed and would just make my life happy and silly, but adding that this would mean he “wasn’t an artist anymore.”
Lily used Halloween as an opportunity to take a cheeky dig at her ex-husband David as she dressed up as his alleged mistress “Madeline”.
The first single from the album, aptly named ‘Madeline’, seems to reference David’s alleged mistress with the lyrics “and who’s Madeline?”.
According to reports, Lily made an appearance at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles the day the single was released, dressed as Madeline, the beloved children’s book character, in a thinly veiled jab at her ex’s alleged affair.
Lily completed her costume with an orange bob wig, white socks, black shoes and a red Birkin handbag. Despite accusing the Stranger Things actor of being unfaithful, Lily maintains that her new song is a blend of personal experiences and fiction.
Fans have long wanted to learn the background to the anthem, but one interviewer boldly asks Lily, “Who the f*** is Madeline”?
Lily’s Halloween costume was among the standout celebrity outfits this year, with A-listers pulling out all the stops for the red carpet. This comes after Lily has been accused of using her bitter divorce from David to propel her latest album West End Girl, as part of a “strategic PR move”.
