This Christmas, Lidl customers are anticipating a festive surprise that will arrive sooner than expected. The supermarket has introduced “the world’s only Lidl Gingerbread Store” as a “festive first” and there are also vouchers to be won to celebrate the opening of its 1, 000th UK store.
Customers can build the DIY kit at home, and some may recognize the design once it is assembled. Each gingerbread kit comes complete with all the accessories needed to create a Lidl creation, which is modeled after the new East Grinstead branch in Sussex. All the chocolate decorations come with edible Lidl billboards, candy cane decorations, gingerbread panels, smooth icing, and candy cane decorations.
There’s more good news too. Lidl has revealed that 10 fortunate customers will find £100 Lidl Plus vouchers tucked inside their kits – the cherry on top of a festive delight.
On Thursday, November 27, 10am, you can order the limited-edition Gingerbread Store at www. Linginginger Breadstore . co. uk. However, you had better act quickly because the retailer only produces 1,000 kits.
A larger gingerbread replica of the building was also created to celebrate the store’s opening, along with the meticulously designed and hand-crafted miniature kits made by Sussex-based gingerbread aficionado Fay Miller. Lucky shoppers will get to experience every deliciously intricate detail up close while watching the model’s presentation at the East Grinstead store, which will serve as inspiration for their mini version throughout the holiday season.
