After Robin Westman, 23, opened fire on himself during a church mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, Fletcher Merkel, 8, and a 10-year-old girl died. 14 children between the ages of 6 and 15 and three parishioners in their 80s were among the injured in the attack, which also included three children. According to police, Westman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Jessie Merkel, Fletcher’s father, claimed in a statement to NBC News that the family couldn’t “hold him, talk to him, play with him, and watch him develop into the wonderful young man he was on the path to becoming.”
“Fletcher loved his family, friends, fishing, cooking and any sports that he was allowed to play,” his father told NBC News. “While the hole in our hearts and lives will never be filled, I hope that in time, our family can find healing.”
Investigators are now examining a series of disturbing posts and YouTube videos left behind by Westman, including a YouTube video expressing views of wanting to kill Donald Trump.
The names of former mass shooters, including Norwegian White Supremacist Anders Breivik and Adam Lanza, who carried out the 2011 and 2012 Sandy Hook killings, respectively, are written on firearms and magazines owned by the killer. On the magazines and firearms, anti-Semitic slurs and anti-India posts were also written.
Five days after the shooting, the Oasis concert continued. After the siblings got caught up in a fight, Liam gave his older brother an olive branch, who had not seen eye-to-eye until last year. It is now claimed that Liam has invited Noel over for Christmas to his North London residence.

After attending both shows in Dublin earlier this month, their devoted mother, Peggy, finally had the opportunity to see their sons perform on stage for the first time in 16 years.
