After working hard in the studio for several years, Leona Lewis OBE has confirmed that she will be releasing her first album in more than ten years.

Leona Lewis OBE has shared huge career news. The singer, who found fame after winning The X Factor almost two decades ago, is no stranger to musical success, having broken a world record with her debut single, A Moment Like This, in 2006.

She hasn’t released any music in recent years, with her most recent album, I Am, which came out in September 2015. The 40-year-old songstress is now preparing for her first album in more than ten years.

Currently, the singer is embarking on her Christmas-themed Las Vegas residency, performing her own hits from her Christmas album, as well as her hits, including Run, Bleeding Love and her festive anthem, One More Sleep. Now, she’s opened up about her upcoming album, which she has spent years working on behind the scenes.

However, Leona is said to be doing everything herself, despite having the biggest names in music backing them and having the opportunity to work with renowned producers. She also writes, produces, and performs the instruments herself.

She explained that she has actually been inside and outside the studio for a while. Leona continued, “It’s been a real labor of love, and I’m planning to share music next year,” in a statement to The Sun.

Leona claimed earlier this year that she was “new to the game” and would take on every role in her new role. However, this gave her complete creative control over the recording. It implies that it is very unfiltered. She said, “It’s very raw.” Prior to the birth of her daughter, Leona continued, “doing not understand the depth of love.”

She self-taught herself to play the bass and guitar after becoming well-known for her powerful voice. She responded, “It’s so satisfying.” However, Leona has been heartbroken recently as she prepares for the new album. She has been forced to sever concerts while performing in Sin City due to illness.

On Saturday, the singer told fans she was forced to cancel due to doctors’ orders, hours before she was due to be on stage. The devastated singer told fans: “To my lovely fans, I’m heartbroken to share that I will not be able to perform tomorrow night’s show (Dec 20). I have been battling a sore throat for the past few days, and while I tried pushing through tonight’s show, it has only left me feeling worse.”

She continued, “I’ll be spending this time recovering and taking vocal rest so I can come back stronger and give you everything you deserve.” I regret regretting the decisions that were made for those who had planned to attend. I appreciate your understanding, compassion, and patience. I’m so appreciative of everyone who consistently shows up for me, and I cherish each one of you. You’ll return under the stars very soon, I promise.

She also announced something similar on Sunday, though. Leona addressed the fans by saying, “To those who are planning to join me tonight. I’m devastated to announce that tonight’s show (Dec. 21) will not be able to perform another challenging update. I had high hopes that I would be able to give a performance, but sadly, I’m still not well enough to perform.

To fully recover and safeguard my voice, I’m going to rest and continue to follow medical advice. I’m reportedly set to be cleared to perform by Christmas Eve, so reassure yourself that I’m doing everything in my power to prevent that. He has more value from you than I can give thanks for your kind words and well wishes. I’m forever grateful to have the most devoted and compassionate fans. I’m eager to return with you all soon and spend some quality time together. My utter love, Leona.

Leona was given the news that she had Hashimoto’s disease in 2017 and that she was incredibly exhausted and in pain as a result. Her Wednesday concert is anticipated to go as planned. Olivia Newton-John’s seven-song career record was broken by Olivia Newton-John, making her the first British female solo artist to do so.

She has received two World Music Awards, two MOBO Awards, and two MTV Europe Music Awards. Additionally, the musician received three Grammys and six BRIT Awards. The actress made her Broadway debut in the Lord Lloyd-Webber musical Cats revival in November with the rendition of I See You from James Cameron’s Avatar.
