Leigh-Anne Pinnock took inspiration from tennis whites to dress for Wimbledon on Saturday as she joined a string of celebs to watch the women’s singles finals. Tennis fever was high as America’s Amanda Anisimova prepared to take on Poland’s Iga Swiatek in a high stakes match for the title.

Little Mix icon Leigh-Anne looked elegant and composed as she arrived at the All England Club to watch all the sporting action. She arrived wearing a light and airy summer dress, and was joined by her mum, Debbie, who also sported a white outfit.

Leigh-Anne attended the Evian Mountain Of Youth VIP Suite ahead of the tennis match starting, and relaxed behind the scenes while goofing around with giant pink tennis balls and posed with a tennis racket. She matched her dress with a strappy pair of white heels and had her hair tied up in a commanding style.

The singer joined other stars including Maya Jama, Katherine Jenkins and Hayley Atwell, at Wimbledon as the 2025 women’s champion was set to be crowned. Leigh-Anne was attending the sporting event as she prepares to launch her latest single as a solo star.

She first burst into the spotlight as a contestant on The X Factor, where she formed Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall. Jesy quit the band in 202,0 and the remaining members began a band hiatus in 2022, leaving them free to pursue solo ventures.

Leigh-Anne released her first single, Don’t Say Love, in 2023, and this was followed by the EP No Hard Feelings the following year. She has now been teasing her next single, which is the lead of her rumoured debut full solo album.

Sharing artwork for her new single over the past week, Leigh-Annd wrote on Instagram: “BEEN A MINUTE out next Friday, 18th July.” And she excitedly added: “Damn, that feels so good to finally say,” while encouraging her fans to pre-save the new single.

The announcement sparked a frenzy of excitement from fans who expressed joy over the fact that she will soon be releasing new material.

In May this year, Leigh-Anne announced she had partnered with Virgin Music Group as an independent artist, after splitting from Warner Records, who will release her new music. In an Instagram clip teasing her new music, Leigh-Anne wrote: “Control looks good on me” as Virgin posted in the comments with a string of heart emojis. Leigh-Anne replied back: “Let’s go.”

Telling her 9.9 million followers that “something beautiful is on the way”, the mum-of-two – who shares twin girls with her footballer husband Andre Gray – also shared a selfie to her Instagram stories as she posed with a drink in the sunshine and captioned it: “Cheers to a Leigh-Anne summer.” In another smiling selfie she said it was “what freedom looks like”.

Giving fans an update in a voice note to fans on the Discord platform, the singer said: “Seriously guys I’ve been wanting to tell so much what was happening, but yeah obviously the process of changing over has been… yeah that’s what has obviously taken time. But yeah obviously we are here – need you guys to stay with me, it is coming. But I just wanted you guys to know it is going to be a Leigh-Anne summer and y’all better get ready.”

In March last year the Mirror revealed Warner Records had refused to fork out for a video shoot to accompany her track Stealin Love – after her previous solo singles Don’t Say Love and My Love got only a lukewarm response.

Insiders claimed the singer had to put some of her own money into her solo career after failing to get the funds she needed. One said: “There was so much excitement around Leigh-Anne’s solo career, but that seemed to wane after the first two tracks.”
