Lauren Goodger, a former TOWIE star, has claimed that she detests her body and believes she has “ruined her looks” after going through a number of cosmetic surgery procedures.
Reality TV legend Lauren Goodger has heartbreakingly admitted she regrets some of her cosmetic surgery and currently hates her appearance. The Only Way Is Essex icon has confessed that she believes her cosmetic procedures have ‘ruined her looks’ and plans to reverse them.
When TOWIE debuted in 2010 and Lauren, 38, was first seen on television, she has since been in the public eye due to the way that cruel trolls have securitized her appearance.
Last month, the Essex native revealed she’s planning to remove her breast implants after 11 years, as she wants to feel like her ‘normal self’ again and go back to being ‘natural’.
Captioning a photo of herself in pink lingerie, Lauren told her Instagram followers: “11 years ago, I had a breast augmentation, one of the things I regret later in life. I had the perfect boobs… they have been great over the years but since being a mum and breastfeeding for one year they have now changed and I’ve always found they make me look bigger!
Also, they are heavy, and I miss my old boobs so much that I’ve found someone who I feel really interested in having my consultation with @marksolomos! I’ve wanted them removed for so long, but it’s the last thing I can do because I’ve been having anxiety surgery. “This is a HUGE step,” I said.
In a new interview, Lauren, who was once engaged to childhood sweetheart Mark Wright, reflected further on her past surgeries and admitted they’ve left her feeling that her body appears ‘abnormal’.
She claimed to want to go back to her previous appearance and that her “massive boobs and bum” make her appear larger than she actually is.
I’ve had surgery, and I’m embarrassed to admit it: I’m now detesting my fake boobs and bum. I don’t need these enormous boobs and massive bum because I think my body looks abnormal. All I can see in the mirror is lumps and bumps when I’m naked is “skinny.”
The reality TV star, who has three daughters with her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury and her late daughter Lorena who passed away in 2022, has previously discussed her “brazilian butt lift” (BBL) procedure that was performed in Turkey in 2017.
She wishes she could undo the surgery, which removed fat from various body parts and injected them into her buttocks. She told Closer magazine last year that she looked the “b****ks” when she had everything finished. I adored how my boobs looked in pictures and received so much attention. But I now regret not having anything. I want to know everything.
She lamented the physical discomfort and aesthetic issues brought on by her larger-than-life features, saying, “My bum and boobs make me look bigger and cause me pain. I want to go back to being natural and change everything.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice star revealed that she hasn’t had fillers for more than two years, although she opts for Botox thrice annually. Lauren also explained how she abstains from alcohol, cigarettes, vaping, and caffeine, aiming to lead a ‘healthier and happier’ lifestyle.
