Kylie Jenner was left screaming in pain as she was forced to tape her feet into her heels at the Met Gala, with the make-up mogul forced to have her shoes cut off
Kylie Jenner is determined to conquer the Met Gala steps no matter what it takes. At the Met Gala 2025 on Monday, the reality superstar graced the red carpet in a Ferragamo creation that showcased her figure and midriff; however, it was her heels that presented an unexpected challenge.
Navigating those stilettos is never simple, but Jenner found it particularly difficult when it came to taking them off. The 27 year old Kylie Cosmetics mogul uploaded a video to her Instagram Story post-gala, where she’s seen sitting on the floor while her entourage struggles to free her from her black pointed-toe pumps..
“Max told me to tape my feet into the shoe,” Jenner remarked, crediting the tip to Ferragamo’s creative director, Maximilian Davis. “And now my feet are stuck in the shoes!”
To attempt to release the tape’s hold without injuring Jenner’s feet, her glam squad deployed spray bottles filled with a clear liquid, although the process appeared rather agonising.
“Ow!” exclaimed Jenner from behind the camera.
A short while later, Jenner shared an update with her followers featuring a triumphant snapshot of her liberated feet, declaring over the photo: “They’re okay! ! ! !”.
For the upper half of her ensemble, Jenner paraded down the carpet in a Ferragamo gown with wool herringbone cups and a lengthy skirt featuring a tall slit, segmented by a transparent corseted bodice.
The founder of Khy accessorised the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, sheer elongated gloves to match, and sported a bombshell makeup aesthetic along with a sleek bun. She completed the outfit with a glossy black sash and a glittery floral brooch adorned with diamonds, though the text cuts off before revealing further details.
She also added a shiny black sash with a diamond-adorned flower brooch, with the fabric stretching feet behind her.
The mum of two was pictured arriving at the 2025 Met Gala – without Timothée Chalamet.
The socialite’s sheer Ferragamo corset dress had a thigh-high leg slit, which honoured the night’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme. She completed the look with matching opera gloves and a wrap. However, Timothée was not pictured on the red carpet in New York City.
Kylie and Timothée have been dating since 2023 but have really ramped up their public appearances together over recent weeks. The mum-of-two and the Oscar nominated actor have been spotted piling on the PDA at multiple events lately, including a Lakers game earlier this week.
At the game, Kylie, 27, and Timothee, 2 9, couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they sat court side. Now, in a recent social media post, she’s sent fans into a frenzy with a series of photos, the standout being one where she rocks a tiny black bikini paired with a New York Knicks cap — a definite shout-out to Timothee’s well-known affection for the New York basketball team, hinted by his choice of hat at a match last month.
