Fans of makeup mogul Kylie Jenner claimed to have spotted her as a celebrity when they shared a side-by-side photo of her and Cillian Murphy.
Following last year’s awards show, images from the 2024 Golden Globes again went viral. Kylie and Cillian were pictured smiling in their separate seats as Hollywood’s biggest stars won awards at the time. Taking to X/ Twitter, a fan pointed out the two had similar cheeks and smiles.
In the February 18 tweet, it was stated that “someone said Kylie Jenner looks like Cillian Murphy, and now I can’t unsee it.” In the pictures, both stars were looking up towards the stage as they smiled. Fans rushed to share their thoughts on the side-by-side snap, with one user writing: “I keep observing the two pictures and they look alike”.
“They look like siblings, the way they smile”! One user wrote, “Oh my gosh, they do look related,” while another user wrote, “Oh my gosh.” One user added: “Damn you’re right”.
Timothee Chalamet and Kylie were present to support Kylie at the event. Meanwhile, Cillian won for his role in Oppenheimer. Additionally, the film won the Drama Award. For the film Wonka, Timothee was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
Kylie and Timothee were nominated for an award for their roles in A Complete Unknown, a young Bob Dylan, at the BAFTA Awards in February of this year. The Like A Rolling Stone singer’s career began in the 1960s in New York, and the movie has received positive reviews since its release.
Fans were left shivering as they watched Kylie’s interactions with Doctor Who legend David Tennant and her encounter with the best British films, such as a special Take That performance. The 27-year-old also watched the incredibly British Claymation, Wallace and Gromit, win several awards, leaving fans joking that “she’s not in Calabasas anymore”.
One fan took to X, saying: “Losing my mind watching Kylie Jenner seeing Wallace and Gromit win multiple awards, (as it should) and Take That perform #BAFTA2025”, while another added: “Kylie Jenner experiencing The Proclaimers and Take That in one night. She’s not in Calabasas anymore #BAFTA2025”, with multiple laughing face emojis.
