Kylie Jenner has created a buzz among fans who believe boyfriend Timothee Chalamet has popped the question after she was spotted wearing a large diamond ring in a social media post
After officially dating for a year, it looks as though Kylie Jenner’s relationship with actor Timothee Chalamet may have taken a new step, if her latest social media video is anything to go by. Sat in her vehicle, Kylie, 28, is seen sporting an eye-catching diamond ring and fans are convinced she is engaged.
The sister of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and also Kendall Jenner, appeared to ignore the sparkler and focus on her new hairstyle. Wearing the enormous diamond ring on the little finger of her left hand, sent fans into a frenzy as they believed that if it was a pinky ring it would not be loose.
The mum of two accompanied the video post saying: “Got a fresh haircut don’t talk to meeeee.” Fans wasted no time in rushing to the comments section of her post. One person wrote: “It HAS to be an engagement ring because it’s too big to be fitted for her pinky.” Another added: “Mrs. Chalamet has never looked this beautiful. A touch of happiness made her glow.”
Meanwhile a third person said: “Mrsssss Chalamet looking soooo good!!!!” A fourth fan added: “Kylie Chalamet.” “Anyone else notice that ring turns to the side?”

“I see that diamond on the pinky,” observer a different user. “Let me see the ring, Kylieeeee,” said a fifth. While rumours of a relationship started in the summer of 2023, the couple made their romance official by walking the red carpet at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Italy, in May last year.
Recently, Timomthee was awarded the Best Actor award at the Critics Choice Award for his role as Marty Mauser in the Marty Supreme movie, surpassing names including Leonardo Di Caprio and Ethan Hawke.
In his heartfelt acceptance speech he directly addressed Kylie, saying: “Thank you to my partner for three years. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Clearly touched by his words in front of a packed crowd and millions of viewers, Kylie was seen mouthing “I love you”, while he was stood on stage.
In his speech, the actor added: “I’m more nervous than I thought I’d be. You made a story about a flawed man with a relatable dream, and you didn’t preach to the audience about what’s right and wrong.” He then went on to add: “I think we should all be telling stories like that. Thank you for this dream.”
This comes after it was reported that the pair had split. According to psychologist Darren Stanton, he claimed Timothee’s speech and Kylie’s reaction was to send a clear message to those who doubted the strength of their romance.
He told Daily Mail on behalf of Press Box PR: “In terms of Kylie and Timothee, one of the reasons they’re being very overt with their gestures and declarations of love is something called social proof and relationship validation.”
He added: “They’re sending a very clear and direct message to the public that the relationship is real, secure and intentional. It isn’t just for the cameras – they’re in this relationship for the long haul.”
Darren continued: “When people display affection in public, it’s also designed to reduce speculation and discourage trolls or those who may not believe the relationship will last. They’re very strategic about where they display these moments, like last night’s Critics Choice Awards.”
He went on to say: “It plays into them wanting to show off their relationship in an open, public setting. Timing is very important and they tend to do this when there’s a lot of press and media present, so they get maximum attention. Kylie especially is very media trained and controlled. The strategy they’re employing is well planned and not off the cuff.”
