The Northern Irish hip-hop group Kneecap have found themselves under the spotlight by police following a statement made during a concert in 2023. A video of the concert held in London, showed a member of the group telling fans that “only a good Tory is a dead Tory.” And then went on to allegedly say “kill your local MP.”

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that they are looking into the video and another from last year, when a band member appeared to shout “up Hamas, up Hezbollah” to the crowd.

According to The Telegraph, police are allegedly examining the footage to see if it has broken any terrorism laws.

The trio’s alleged member allegedly said, “We’re still under British occupation in Ireland,” in the video. In Ireland, older men are still making decisions in London that affect my life.

The group member then continued, “And even worse, they’re f****** Tories. A dead Tory is the only decent Tory. Your neighborhood politician should be dead.
