Kimberly Wyatt has revealed that she is just waiting for the approval of her former bandmates to start a massive Pussycat Dolls project.

Although a reunion of the Pussycat Dolls is planned, things are still in the works. The chart-topping band, known for its hits like Don’t Cha and Buttons, sold 40 million albums worldwide and only released two studio albums, leading the pack in the charts between 2003 and 2010. Additionally, they received numerous awards and received a Grammy nomination for Stickwitu, their smash hit from 2006.

In 2019, Kimberly Wyatt was joined by her bandmates Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, and Jessica Sutta for a short-lived reunion. However, Melody Thornton wasn’t part of the reunion. They had planned a global tour following the reaction to their new single, React, which they debuted on The X Factor, the show on which Scherzinger was sitting on the judging panel.

The tour was eventually pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic, which rapidly swept across the world. But sadly, for the Dolls and their fans, it never materialised, with Nicole confirming the cancellation and the reunion via an Instagram post citing “evolving circumstances,” which Kimberly found out about moments before going live on Dancing On Ice.

Now, three years after the tour was officially cancelled in 2022, Kimberly, 43, has revealed that she is working on a special project – but it’s been difficult getting the Dolls on the same page. “I’d like to think so,” she said when asked if there could be a reunion. She went on to exclusively tell the Mirror: “It’s really difficult to get everybody on the same page.

Women need to support and work together to create something truly beautiful right now. That might be what I thought it might be. There are so many things going on that I believe it might not even happen. It was claimed by the Dolls’ founder, Robin Antin, that Scherzinger was refusing to take part in the tour in 2021.

According to reports, Scherzinger agreed to receive 49% of the tour’s revenue, but he wouldn’t be performing until this percentage, including overall creative control, increased. No further information was disclosed about the dispute, which was ultimately resolved in November 2024, and Nicole later stated she would consider holding a subsequent reunion. Kimberly previously claimed that Scherzinger and Antin had engaged in a significant legal dispute.

Kimberly stated that she would love to collaborate on a documentary and that she is working on it. If the girls want to do it, “she revealed. I have a documentary that could be made.” However, it’s challenging to get all the women on the same page, she continued. I always try because I enjoy it, but I can’t stop trying.

“There’s so much to unpack,” she said. But it’s not just the Dolls’ chart success which Kimberly is proud of; instead, it was the decade of hard work to prove themselves, often performing at bars in Los Angeles. “With the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, there’s just so many people that would come and be a part of the dolls,” she gushed.

She continued, “I mean, starting with Johnny Depp’s The Viper Room; we’ll see. It’s the best of the Noughties, right there on Sunset Strip in LA.” Kimberly claims that her love of their song “Don’t Cha” will always be in her mind because it almost overnight led to success.

She exclaimed, “I’m so proud, Pussycat Doll once, Pussycat Doll for life,” adding, “I’ve had the most amazing experiences meeting so many brilliant people around the world. And to be DJing on Hits Radio every Sunday, I have a DJ dance show called Don’t You Disco that features dancers, choreographers, and music from Pussycat Dolls.

People whose lives were changed because of the Dolls, she said, “I still meet people who were in tears because it made them feel seen,” she continued, adding that they could have the confidence that maybe life didn’t always allow them to feel that they could be.

So it makes me feel incredibly proud that I made a difference by wearing stilettos, raising my leg, and singing songs like Don’t Cha and React. Kimberly explained that her guilty pastimes were Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins while attending the National Television Awards.

She could picture herself on SAS, claiming that she is “always up for a challenge.” She acknowledges that she has “pushed herself” in reality television “over the years,” but she acknowledges that Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins may have a different side that she may not like. You never know how you’re going to react, unless you’re thrown into it, Kimberly said, before going on to say, “It’s the psychological stuff they get you on.”

There are “no really experiences out there that do that,” according to the statement “unless you go on television and share it with the world”!
