Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has pivoted into the world of gaming and will appear as a character in Fortnite from December 13 with over 25 customisable outfit variations and emotes
Reality TV sensation Kim Kardashian is set to make her debut as a playable character in the popular video game Fortnite.
The influencer and entrepreneur, 45, unveiled a collection of promotional artwork on X, showcasing her Fortnite appearance and the various outfit and hairstyle options, referred to as skins, which will be accessible to gamers from December 13.
As part of the Fortnite Icon Series, the partnership was revealed through a promotional video posted by the game on Instagram, featuring the Skims co-founder taking on various personas whilst a narrator described each scenario, stating: “Kim Kardashian is a mom, an entrepreneur, a fashion icon, a TV star and now she’s taking on Fortnite.”

The clip concluded with Kardashian looking directly at the camera and delivering the line, “What, like it’s hard?”, paying homage to the beloved movie Legally Blonde.
Gamers will have the opportunity to personalise her adaptable Icon Outfit, featuring a complete bodysuit with coordinating gloves, offering over 25 different combinations including seven colour choices, four neckline styles and three hair options – sleek long black locks, a tousled bun with fringe, and platinum grey tresses.
A Skims-influenced ensemble comprising grey joggers and a white cropped top, accessorised with a white fur jacket, is also included amongst the selections alongside various additional items.
Players can additionally recreate several of Kardashian’s internet-breaking moments through different features, including a Slurp the Internet Emote, paying tribute to her iconic Break The Internet photo session, and a Diamond Drop Emote. This marks Kardashian’s debut collaboration with the video game, joining a star-studded list of previous features including singers Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande, and rapper Eminem.
Kardashian has previously dipped her toes into the gaming world with her own mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The game, which challenged players to increase their fame and ascend the social ladder, was discontinued in 2024, ten years after its initial release.
Her recent foray comes after her big TV comeback failed to go down well with viewers, who brutally panned her performance in Ryan Murphy’s star-studded new legal drama.
The 45-year-old reality star turned actress takes on the role of Allura Grant, a glamorous divorce lawyer leading an all-female legal firm that goes head-to-head with their male-dominated counterparts.
All’s Fair, which premiered on Hulu and Disney+, boasts an A-list ensemble including Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash.
But despite the heavyweight cast, much of the online conversation has centred around Kim’s acting, and not in a flattering way. While the Skims founder was previously praised for her screen presence in American Horror Story: Delicate, many fans have claimed her latest performance fell flat.
Viewers took to X to share their thoughts, with one writing: “Yeah casting Kim Kardashian was the worst mistake they could’ve made for this show… it ruins the tone immediately because she cannot act. WHY WHY WHY.”
