After being allegedly kidnapped during a livestream on Wednesday, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that popular TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, is safe.

In an interview with Channels Television on Thursday, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, stated that inquiries were being conducted to ascertain the veracity of the allegations.

“We are looking into the allegation, but we can confirm that Peller, the person in question, is safe and sound at home.

Nothing was missing, just his car, all of his belongings, and everything else. However, Hundeyin stated that we are looking into the validity of that claim and that the outcome of that investigation will determine our next course of action.

Hundeyin asserted that the police were keeping all options open, whether the incident could be classified as a kidnapping or self-kidnapping, or whether there was no abduction at all.

We are looking into that, exactly. There was no violence whatsoever, he explained, and all of his properties were intact, and he was also intact.
