Kelly Obsourne opens up about dad Ozzy’s death on his 77th birthday

Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, has opened up about losing him because she marks the “emotional” day he would have turned 77 years old. Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2025.

What has Kelly Osbourne said about the passing of Ozzy?

• Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne died in July of this year after suffering a heart attack. He was survived by his wife Sharon, as well as his son Jack, who is currently on I’m A Celeb, and his daughter Kelly. Kelly opened up about her father’s death on what would have been his 77th birthday.
• She described the experience as an “emotional one” and shared a photo of herself seated on the Birmingham Black Sabbath bench surrounded by Ozzy’s floral tributes on Instagram.
• She captioned her post, “Happy birthday, daddy, you most certainly did not die an ordinary man!” Without you, life is difficult, but I don’t spend a day living in love with you and your legacy! I adore you more than anything else. I’ll cherish you forever! What would I give to see you light up just once more?
• He is deeply moved by the bench, she told Ed James of BBC Radio West Midlands. Beyond words can’t describe the outpouring of love, respect, condolence, and everything else this city has given him. She continued, “Birmingham means everything to my father.”
• Sharon Osbourne also paid her husband homage. She said, “I’ll never let go of your hand until I see you facing the other side,” in Instagram. I honor the birth anniversary of your beautiful husband.
• Kelly added that she would be happy to talk to her brother, Jack, who is currently a celebrity in Australia. Without my brother, she said, “I can’t lie today is really difficult. To be able to talk to him, I would give anything! However, in the jungle, he must continue to kick butt.”
