Even though the $3.2 million vineyard where she married James Righton was an “extraordinary” location, one thing about it made her want to sell it.
Keira Knightley has sold the £3 million vineyard where she married James Righton. The Hollywood actress, 40, tied the knot with James in the south of France in 2013, in the winemaking area known as Les Cinq Puits.
The couple, who went on to have daughters Edie, 10, as well as six-year-old Delilah together, enjoyed growing grapes for wine together in the multimillion pound space, but they have since made the decision to sell up because of how “difficult” it was to maintain.
She admitted: “It was actually drinkable. It was absolutely amazing. We got really into it. It’s great because of the stories of the winemakers. It’s an extraordinary thing – how they make them and how difficult it is, particularly if you’re doing it organically. We don’t have the vineyard now.”

The star joined Nick Grimshaw and Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett on the Dish from Waitrose podcast and was also asked if she watches festive classic Love Actually like millions of us do. But she confessed: “I’ve seen it once. If you’re in it, it would be weird if, I was watching my own…. yeah!
Someone asked me to say a line from the movie, but I hadn’t seen it, so I guess. I was like, “I don’t know what you’re talking about!” I became aware of the existence of numerous languages. I don’t realize that it is actually quoting me at me.
The actress from Pirates of the Caribbean, who first appeared in films as a teenager and was cast in Bend It Like Beckham, recently acknowledged that she had to be more selective about the types of projects she wanted to do while living in London.
“That’s the issue,” the statement read. Every line I’ve ever said in any movie I’ve ever done has a delete button in my head. Literally, the scene vanishes as soon as I finish it. I have to rehabilitate the scene even if I had to do it.
So when people actually come over, they look at me in a very particular way while they are obviously quoting me. I understand how it looks, but I’m unsure of the line.
That’s very challenging for actors because we move all over the world, she said. So I’ve made a lot of effort to keep it in London and have been very fortunate to be able to do it. Before making an extended trip around Europe, Keira called her agent and warned them against accepting any more scripts, saying that she would use her acting prowess to completely vanish. She said, “I was very good.
No one wants to see you at museums or trains. They wouldn’t have anticipated that I was extremely scruffy. You simply don’t make eye contact and lean toward someone. I kind of smacked. The actress eventually made a significant comeback to acting, earning praise for her Black Doves role last year.
