Following allegations of bullying, Kaye Adams has made a statement after being removed from her BBC Scotland radio show earlier this month.
Kaye Adams has claimed her reputation has been “dragged through the mud” following her sudden removal from her BBC Scotland radio show. The well-known broadcaster, who is also a regular on ITV’s Loose Women, was abruptly taken off air from her morning radio programme earlier this month.
While bosses conduct an investigation, Adams was fired from her BBC Radio Scotland hosting position. According to some, the 62-year-old’s complaints were brought up as part of the BBC’s “Call It Out” campaign.
The BBC has yet to confirm the reason, despite rumors that it was based on a complaint about her behavior. Adams expressed disappointment that the company hasn’t given her specifics on the allegations that were made against her.
After three of the most agonizing weeks of my professional life and seeing my previously undone name belied by the mud, BBC Scotland has still not provided me with any details of the accusations that have been made against me.

An incident on October 8 that she is accused of “stormed out” of a meeting was vehemently denied by Adams, saying it “categorically did not happen.” She continued, “No shouting on my part, it’s not my style.
People I have dealt with both personally and professionally over the years have emailed me with messages of support, and I thank them with all the heart.
Adams, who is well-known on ITV’s Loose Women panel, joined BBC Scotland in 2010. We would not comment on individuals, a BBC Scotland representative told the PA news agency.
It comes as Adams’ show was off-air for two weeks after hosting a BBC radio program for a number of days a week. While investigations are pending, Kaye has been replaced on air by Connie McLaughlin.
Kaye is regarded as one of the Loose Women cast members, according to a source close to the Daily Mail. “The complaints may have been brought on by the BBC’s Call It Out scheme,” it is said.
The organization was created to combat questionable behavior. Following the revelations about the scandal involving former MasterChef hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
Kaye is not expected to return to her radio show for at least two weeks, according to a source from the BBC, but a TV star’s representative insisted that “no complaints had been presented to her by the BBC.”
However, she could return to ITV next week. While Friday’s Loose Women was taken off air due to the racing, it’s expected to be back in its normal lunchtime slot on Monday, with Kaye potentially among the panellists.
