Orlando Bloom and Kate Perry have been dating since February 2019, but recent conversations suggest that the couple, who started dating nine years ago, are going through a breakup.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship “is on the rocks,” a friend has claimed.
Reports emerged last week the couple, who got engaged in February 2019, are navigating a break-up, talk fuelled when Katy, 40, was seen without her signature ruby engagement ring. It has since been claimed Orlando, 48, will attend Jeff Bezos’ wedding in Venice alone, and not with his partner as first planned.
A friend of the pair has told Mail Online: “Unfortunately they are on the rocks… I’m afraid it does not look promising.” Their bleak assessment of the relationship, which began in 2016, comes after other sources shared their pessimism. An insider told the New York Post: “It’s over. They’re just waiting until the tour is done before they split.”
Katy’s The Lifeime Tours is currently in Australia and moves to the US next month. It doesn’t finish, though, until December, after Katy performs across the UK. She currently has the couple’s daughter, Daisy Dove, with her, it is understood.

Katy recently took a chocolate Tim Tam biscuit, an Australian brand, from a fan and said, “This song is about a break-up, and this Tim Tam saved me.” She was performing her 2008 heartbreaking anthem I’m Still Breathing while she was busy.
And Katy has, indeed, experienced her own share of heartbreak since then. The singer was on the road in Asia in 2012 when then husband Russell Brand requested – by text – a divorce, despite “running herself ragged” trying to keep that flame alive.
According to legend, Katy and Orlando both had couples’ therapy throughout their two-year engagement, and they also, according to legend, had sessions with Orlando during their engagement. Katy, a native of Santa Barbara, California, said: “He’s very sensitive. He’s very sensitive. very emotionally developed He chants for an hour before getting up at 7 am. Our desire to study that area and become more spiritually evolved are two things that bind us.
Orlando has also mentioned Katy’s situation: “We’re in two very different pools]for work.” I don’t believe she will understand that her pool is one that I will always understand, and I don’t believe she will either. Sometimes things are actually, really, really challenging. I’m not lying. We must battle our creativity and emotions.
