Katie Price, the mother-of-five, shared photos of herself and a mysterious man at a posh Dubai complex on Friday as she announced her engagement for the ninth time.
Katie Price’s sister Sophie said “absolutely not” after hearing the former glamour model was on the hunt for a new husband just weeks after breaking up with JJ Slater. The conversation came mere days before Katie, 47, announced she was engaged to a mystery man.
The lavish Dubai proposal is the ninth time that mum-of-five Katie has been engaged. From those engagements she has walked down the aisle three times, with Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and latterly Keiran Hayler.
During a conversation on the Katie Price Show podcast, which was recorded on Monday, Katie told her sister she had been “manifesting” a new man. Sophie however urged Katie to take “time to yourself”.
Katie said, “I’m manifesting, I’ve got such good work coming up, I’m in no rush, I’m fitting in my life my Richard Gere, that’s all I want.” It’s been said by me year after year.
Sophie responded, “Mum called me last week and said, “Oh God, now what,” and she said, “She said she wants a Richard Gere type,” and I said, “No, you need a break, you need time to yourself.”
Sophie continued to joke that Vivian Ward, a Hollywood sex worker from Julia Roberts’ Pretty Woman, should be being used as Vivian in her sister’s idiom. However, Katie added, “I won’t be paid for sex.”
Earlier this evening Katie shared pictures of the lavish proposal on her Instagram page. She uploaded a snap of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai with an emoji of a ring.
The posh suite at the posh hotel can cost almost £20,000 per night. She claimed that her Richard gear [sic] had completely swept me off my feet after the post.
The model added that “demonstrating is effective” One of the images Katie shared was a massive diamond ring.
In another scene, she was surrounded by rose petals while in a hot tub. Katie was seen posing beside petals that read, “Will You Marry Me,” along with love hearts and tea lights. Katie”.
In another image, Katie was seen holding a man’s hand with her name on it. Katie has also consented to wed Leandro Penna in 2012, Scott Sullivan in 2004, and Warren Furman in 1996.
Carl Woods and Kris Boyson submitted their proposals in 2021, respectively, in 2018. Katie and the men never made it down the aisle, though.
Katie reportedly left JJ Slater, 32, for her ex-boyfriend, two weeks ago. According to sources, Katie said, “There’s no hard feelings, there’s no animosity,” making their relationship “too obvious to ignore.”
