Katie Price and JJ Slater split recently and the Married At First Sight star has decided to use his new free time to hit the gym – and has already dropped a load of weight
Katie Price’s ex JJ Slater has hit the gym following his split from the reality star. The former Married At First Sight contestant and Katie went their separate ways a few weeks back.
The pair had been on and off for months, with it being reported that Katie had split from JJ and was already “moving on” with other guys sending her messages, just weeks before they split again – and seemingly this time for good.
Now, JJ has been updating fans about his physical health, revealing he has been busy in the gym and already has dropped an impressive 2.8kg in just 10 days.
“About 10 days ago I posted that I’ve been working with Kieran from Konditioning Coaching. He’s an online coach. I’ve never had one before but I thought that I’d give it a go. We’re 10 days in, and I’m 2.8kg down which is obviously a blinder,” he said.
“Yeah he holds me accountable, he sorts out my nutrition, sorts out my workouts, makes sure I’m doing my steps, my cardio. And if I’m not doing it he’ll call me up and be like ‘J what are you doing.’ If you’re not sure about getting an online coach maybe seeing my journey might help you decide on that but yeah, shout out Kieran and more to come on this.”
Katie and JJ haven’t officially confirmed their split but in her most recent podcast episode, Katie said she used to be afraid of being alone but now she realises she doesn’t “need” a man.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she didn’t mention JJ but said: “Years ago, I was always afraid of being on my own. I always felt I needed someone. How I am now, I always say, I don’t need a man. If I want a man, it’s because I want them. I don’t need a man, whereas years before, I needed a man.”
A source had previously claimed that JJ was “disappointed” by their decision to go their separate ways.
“She’s now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time. JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex. He genuinely saw a future with Katie, but it seems she ultimately had a very different outlook,” the source shared.
Another source added: “Ultimately, Katie’s gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he’d lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat.”
