Kate Price has updated her pets, revealing that her cat, Doris, is pregnant weeks after Peta criticized the former model for how many animals perish in her care.
Katie Price offered fans an update on her cat’s pregnancy and admits she’s “scared” of what might happen. The former glamour model, 47, shared news of pet Doris’ pregnancy on her podcast alongside sister Sophie.
The update came just weeks after the mum-of-five was scolded by PETA for her treatment of one of her pets. She was accused of “sunburning” one of her Sphynx cats, Kevin. And she has been branded a “serial killer” by the charity over the deaths of at least eight of her animals.
However, Katie stated in her most recent post: “Doris is pregnant, and I’m not sure how many weeks she’s been,” but her belly has grown bigger and bigger. She’s been nesting, and she’s persistently enticing to get on me.

I’ve ordered additional bed, separate cat litter, and everything else. Because I have the other cats and worry that if she goes into labor, she might eat the kittens, so I’m going to put it up in my room and leave it there.
She continued, “I’m setting her up in a nice little corner of my bedroom with her own cat litter and her own little bed. I’ll give her separate and let her chill out here so she can sleep there.” So, if she does go into labor, I can hear it, comfort her, and just offer my support.
“I know the kids want me to keep one, but I don’t know how many she’ll have.” And then I realize I can’t, despite what I’m like.
Elisa Allen of Peta’s claimed the former model has repeatedly disregarded advice regarding pet care. For all she seems to care, she said, “Anyone who warns Katie not to harm the animals she takes in might as well be screaming into the wind.”
And then Elisa continued, “Her cat is sunburnt, which she was probably warned about when she inherited a gimmick cat, bred to look odd and be hairless,” while referring to the alleged cat’s sunburn.
Cats with “light or no fur can easily burn easily,” according to Peta, which is one reason to confine them indoors. If they do enter a private garden, they should apply vet-approved sunscreen and provide plenty of shade. If redness, swelling, or other signs of infection occur in your cat, your veterinarians must be on the lookout for them.
In a recent social media post, Katie had claimed her cat had “been in the sun.” She shook the cat in the video, saying, “Oh Kevin, you have sunburned despite us applying sun cream to you.”
It was said in the caption of the video, “It’s difficult to keep the cats from the sun.”
In an effort to prevent Katie from having animals, Peta had previously requested an injunction. Following numerous tragic deaths, the star received a further £5, 000 to ensure that no more animals would ever be acquired.
