After revealing that her eldest child has a weight of 30stone, Katie Price has admitted she “can’t wait” to see how Harvey’s medication affects him.
Katie Price revealed her son Harvey Price has now reached 30stone in weight as she offered an update on her eldest child’s health. The mum-of-five, 47, has confirmed he is now taking weight loss jabs in a bid to bring down his weight.
His weight issues were making her more and more concerning. Has Prader-Willi syndrome, according to Harvard, age 22. He may become constantly hungry as a result of this.
Now, she has admitted they have gone to special methods in a bid to combat his urges – and Katie says she can’t wait to see the outcome. Speaking on her latest edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, she explained to her sister Sophie that Harvey is starting on the weight loss jab, Mounjaro, once he gets to his new college.
She explained to the audience, “They want him to settle there for at least two weeks so they get to know him.” Because they said that when he kicks off everything, they only sort of get to know him once.
“So they could monitor him so they would know if there was a behavior change when he started the Mounjaro, but because he’s close by, I’ll be more involved this time because we’re so far away, and I’ll be seeing him all the time.”
She added: “I’m having visions (about Harvey) that when he starts it, because I’m joining him at the gym, I’m going to get him a boxing trainer, not to be a boxer, but it’s good exercise, and I think he’ll love it. I’m just so fascinated to know what he’s gonna look like.”
Then, Sister Sophie inquired, “So technically, we’re talking about what, three weeks until he starts his journey.”
However, Katie responded, “Well, we have eight (weeks), and then he can start,” but I’m trying to move things along more quickly because I read all these people’s stories. Because I believe he looks like Junior in his eyes and that even the clothes I buy him look different, I can’t imagine what he’ll look like.
He’ll be more energetic and I can then take him on High Street to dress him up. We’ve grown to know Big Bear Harvey, so I can’t wait to see what he’ll look like.
Earlier this month, Katie expressed how his new accommodation are used to residents being on the medication. Speaking to her sister at the time, she said: “They’ve had a few people there, within months, just losing weight because they know how to deal with it.
“You’re aware that Harvey will look different with that location, the Mounjaro, like,” you might ask? Because he’s currently so big, he’s just out of breath, and then he recovers his normal little life. So, when Harv moves, a lot will change.
The name of the brand of tirzepatide is Mounjaro. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) granted the antidiabetic medication in 2024 for the treatment of obesity on the NHS.
