Due to “childcare commitments,” Katie Price and Kerry Katona have already rescheduled their 38-date tour, putting the schedule in jeopardy three months before the first performance.
Katie Price has confirmed that she has made the decision to quit her 38-date UK tour with Kerry Katona, over “childcare commitments.” The pair, who first met while on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here back in 2004, were set to embark on a nationwide tour together, which had been titled An Evening with Katie and Kerry – On Tour.
Kerry, 44, is still unsure whether she will carry out the tour’s terms on her own, or whether it will be canceled altogether.
The model has been forced to resign from the tour, according to a source who claimed the model was “gutted” and “tried everything she could” to make the tour work.
She allegedly said to The Sun, “She hates letting her fans down and hopes to do something similar in the future.” It’s not known for a while whether Kerry will remain on the tour or whether she’ll continue without her.
The source claimed that both women are “still best of mates, but it’s a huge blow to their fans” in an effort to quell speculation about a rift between the two.
And a representative for Katie, a mother of five, said, “Yes, that’s correct. Kate prioritizes childcare obligations.
The tour was scheduled to end in Hull on October 22 for the first time, with the first performance scheduled for September 11 at Ellesmere Port. The show’s premise was to introduce anecdotes about their two-decade friendship, marriages, divorces, and bankruptcy problems to viewers.
Along with audience participation, the tour was scheduled to address their time on I’m a Celebrity, their relationship with their parents, and their journey to a happy ending.
Before the shock announcement, a post on a ticket website read, “Join them for an evening that promises to be warm, inspirational, motivational, and lots of fun”! There will also be a performance by the artist, along with questions from the audience.
Additionally, meet and greet tickets were being promoted, and one theater’s policy stated that “40 Meet &, Greet tickets are available for an exclusive After-show Meet &, Greet with the ladies.”
Back in March, theatre production company ABPLTD took to Instagram and posted: “AN EVENING WITH KATIE AND KERRY – ON TOUR @kerrykatona7 and @katieprice are heading out on the road this autumn for a tell-all tour sharing stories of their friendship, marriage and divorce, bankruptcy, ‘I’m A Celebrity’, the importance of family, their constant press attention and turning their lives around.
Join them for a warm, inspiring, motivating, and full of fun evening, the company added.
