Reality TV star Katie Price is celebrating a career milestone after her music comeback rocketed her to the top of the UK charts.
The former glamour model and reality TV star has seen her 2017 dance track I Got U experience a surprising resurgence, hitting number one on the iTunes dance chart and number two on the general UK hits chart.

Katie’s representative told The Sun : “This is a massive surprise for Kate, she’s always loved singing and this is a dream come true! She is having so much support from the public and can’t thank them enough for her latest entrance into the charts.”
Katie herself took to Instagram Stories to share her delight with fans. She reposted congratulatory messages, writing: “Thank you to everyone my dreams have come true,” before joking, “Well, for once I’m speechless! Thank you so much!”
She also pointed out how affordable her track is, posting a screenshot showing I Got U available for 99p, captioning it, “Thank you so so much for all your support, honestly means the world to me.”
The single first made waves in 2017 during her second attempt at a pop career, but originally peaked at number five in the charts. She released the tune several years after performing a duet of A Whole New World with her ex husband Peter Andre in 2006. The pair donated the proceeds of their performance to charity.
Katie made plans earlier this year to expand on her musical success with a new album and a tour. She stated to her fans on TikTok: “Music, I have my album coming out, I’m going up and down the country doing my normal gigs, and I’m doing my regular stuff. I’m touring up and down the country.”
“I’m going to be Katie Price’s Big Bangers,” in which I’ll be doing both my own and many old school covers. You’ll have to watch, ” “.
Katie recently achieved musical success, but her personal life is proving difficult. The former glamour model has been dealing with her ex-husband Peter Andre for the past few months, particularly with their eldest daughter, Princess.
Katie alleged that Peter’s management had prevented her from watching her daughter’s birthday celebrations and complained about her daughter’s absence from her daughter’s TV show. This assertion has been refuted by his team.
In retaliation for his own actions on social media, he wrote: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in response to my ex-wife and her family’s repeated lies, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. Today we come to an end.
“I must set the record straight about the most recent comments about my children’s welfare and living conditions. Junior and Princess were placed with me until they were adults in 2018 for well-known reasons and for their safety. The family courts formally imposed this arrangement on the family courts in 2019. Out of respect for my children, I’ve never made this public.
Despite the drama, Katie is still proudly posting photos with Princess. She recently shared a photo where she could be seen twinning with her eldest daughter in matching tops, saying: “Off to London with my Princess, and yes, I got my eyelashes done.”
