After delighting audiences in a recent pantomime, Katie Price has been cast in a new role in acting.
Over the winter weeks, Katie, 46, sparked howls of laughter alongside Atomic Kitten legend Kerry Katona, 44, as they starred as the ugly sisters in a production of Cinderella. Pop culture icons hammered it up on stage and entertained locals at the festive stage show at Northwich Memorial Court in Cheshire, which attracted crowds of all kinds.
Katie will be demonstrating her acting prowess once more soon, this time alongside some renowned TV actors, as has been made public. The OnlyFans model reportedly signed to work on the new Pinocchio production alongside Casualty actress Amanda Henderson and EastEnders star Bobby Davro.
Fans won’t have to wait until the holiday season to see the fun-filled show because it will be playing on the stage in a few short weeks, even though Katie has been cast in this pantomime production. Amanda will also appear in the television series, but it appears she will be playing the magic fairy alongside Katie.
The show’s producer shared the news on Instagram, writing, “We are delighted to announce that Amanda Henderson and Katie Price will play Fairy on all of the dates of this year’s Easter Panto tour.” They will join Phyl Harries, Kate Salmon, and Bobby Davro as Stromboli in the previously announced casting list, along with Ryan Greaves and other Easter Panto favorites.
Katie responded to the news by sharing a number of red heart emojis along with the update on her own Instagram page. Fans have already flooded the casting announcement post with information on how much they want to buy tickets and see the actress in person.
One gushed in the comments: “Ooh I can’t wait she was amazing in cinderella”. And another wrote: “She be fabulous in it”. Some fans were concerned that some Pricey-free performances might result from her playing the part being unintentionally.
Highlighting the potential flaw, one fan wrote: “I just booked Cannock omg I do hope your in that one”, alongside a crying-face emoji. And another typed: “How do we know which dates Katie is doing”? However, a kind production staff member pointed out that one of the presentations Katie shared clearly indicated when she would be performing.
Katie shocked fans when she revealed that she had abandoned plans to have a new round of cosmetic procedures. Although she had been scheduled for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), she unexpectedly decided to go for a harder workout than a surgical fix.
Speaking on The Katie Price Podcast this week, she shared: “I’m starting the gym next week. I’ve decided I’m not going to have filler or implants, I’m going to work my a*** off at the gym. Although it will likely take a year to get my bum where I want it, I’ll still take before and after pictures.
