Katie Price was unhappy with reports suggesting she had left her latest home to become a mess after she previously moved out of a property dubbed Mucky Mansion
Katie Price has hit back at claims over the state of her new home. It comes after her previous property was dubbed the “mucky mansion” due to debris and its messy surroundings, including litter and bin bags outside.
But now, as she continues to settle in to her second rented home since leaving her Sussex pile in 2024, reports were already sharing aerial photos that showed a large mound of packages and cardboard boxes abandoned outside.
But despite the images, Katie was having none of the criticism. And the former glamour model, 47, posted on her Instagram Stories to put her side across. Sharing a video of the home as she wandered around its gardens, she said the reports had been “really disappointing”.

She wrote: “I’ve seen the article circulating about my new home and the rubbish that was outside and honestly it’s really disappointing to see it being turned into a story without the full picture.”
Mum-of-five Katie went on: “After the Christmas break, there were a few bags and leftover boxes that hadn’t been collected yet, it was simply Christmas waste waiting for the bin collection like many families have. It’s been cleared up now, and there’s absolutely no truth to the idea that I’m letting my home become dirty or neglected.”
She added she isn’t a fan of old narratives being spun on the back of the images. She paired her footage and words with Sabrina Carpenter’s Hose Tour tune.
Earlier in the day, Katie had hinted she is ready for a fresh start following her reported split from JJ Slater. It was claimed in recent days the pair had called time on their two-year relationship.
Sharing a number of quotes to her Stories, Katie shared a post which read: “When I care, I care hard. When I don’t give a f***, I really don’t give a f***.” It was the first in a number of posts by the star as she opted to share a number of cryptic messages about her relationship status.
Next up, Katie shared a quote that said: “Real intimacy isn’t built in bedrooms but in conversations where your raw thoughts, fears, and truths are met with love, patience, and a desire to understand.”
And a third in quick succession read: “A woman who has healed many traumas on her own and still keeps her heart pure, isn’t a woman. She’s an alchemist. She’s magic.”
Days earlier Katie had revealed a possible holiday trip with her eldest son Harvey. The 23-year-old was told by his mum that they could head to Las Vegas so he can enjoy a beer.
The YouTube clip showed the pair discussing their year ahead. Speaking to Harvey, Katie said: “You’ll be 24. You are such a man. I think we need to take you to nightclubs this year. Do you know I could take you to Vegas?”
She continued: “You’re old enough. I could take you anywhere now. You’re 24, you’ll be 24. Do you want to try your first beer?”
