Katie Price has responded after she was slammed for a last-minute cancellation at another Pride event. The former glamour model, 47, was booked to perform at a fundraising afterparty for Milton Keynes Pride Festival.

However, she has been slammed over her “lack of accountability and professionalism” in a scathing statement on social media. Katie was publicly scolded by MK Pride as they confirmed the event will still go ahead despite the mum-of-five no longer making an appearance.

They claimed that the Milton Keynes Pride Festival is a “not-for-profit organization.” Katie Price was hired as the headliner for the official afterparty, which was organized and promoted as a fundraiser.

Her management has confirmed that she will not be honoring her booking despite repeated attempts to contact her to fulfill this agreement. We have no control over this decision because it was made on a short notice.

We are committed to transparency as a Pride organization. In order to put this in context, Ms. Price’s approach to her professional commitments has already been covered extensively in media reports.

It is regrettable that no one has reciprocated the support that our community has always given her. We feel sorry for the community’s disappointment when she chooses not to fulfill her obligations to a charitable Pride event.

In response to their social media post, Katie’s representative told the Mirror : “Katie is disappointed not to be appearing at the Milton Keynes Pride afterparty due to unforeseen filming commitments.

She respects LGBTQ+ communities and events greatly and wishes Milton Keynes Pride a happy celebration.

MK Pride claimed to be looking for a Katie replacement. The statement continued, “We are currently looking for a replacement for Katie Price,” adding that “the afterparty will still go as planned at Pink Punters.”

Please allow us to finish this in a few hours, and we’ll make an announcement right away. They explained that attendees can return their tickets even though the Pride event is free to attend.

They came to the conclusion that Milton Keynes Pride is fully committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and unforgettable celebration for our community despite the fact that this circumstance is entirely outside our control.

In July, Katie pulled out of Glasgow Pride due to “another urgent obligation.” She was set to appear alongside headliners Miriana Conte, Subwoolfer, Kelly Llorenna and Karen Dunbar at the bash.

For an undisclosed reason, she, however, chose not to travel to Scotland. Sadly, Katie Price is unable to attend Glasgow’s Pride 2025 due to another pressing obligation, according to organizers at the time.

Fans expressed their shock in the comments section of the post because they were not impressed. One person remarked, “Oh, I’m not going right now, Katie price isn’t there,” while another questioned, “Is Katie price not going any more?” “?

A third attendee criticized the justification when she posted, “Urgent obligation, what a load of bs,” and another user on social media quipped, “WHERE IS MS PRICE GONE”?

The move came just weeks after Katie and her close friend and former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona pulled out of another event when they were due to headline Barnsley Pride. “We sincerely apologise to all our visitors who are looking forward to joining us for our Barnsley Pride 2025 events,” a statement said at the time.

“Unfortunately, Katie Price will no longer be appearing on our Funny Gals Main Stage/After Dark Official Pride Afterparty due to unforeseen circumstances.” We want to make it clear that this is beyond our control and that we are genuinely disappointed because we were so excited to have her on our line-up of incredible acts.
