Princess Andre and her daughter Princess Andre were seen together last week on a shopping trip to Selfridge’s, and Kate Price has responded to the photos.

Former glamour model Katie Price admitted to being “horrified” by her “gaunt” appearance in last week’s photos of her out and about with her daughter Princess.

As the mother of five, 47, and daughter Princess, 18, traveled to the posh Selfridges department store in central London. Unfortunately, the enjoyable experience was ruined by concern as viewers expressed their concerns about Katie’s appearance following her recent weight loss.

The comments on her Instagram page were flooded with messages about concerns for Katie’s health as her daughter Princess shared a video of the mother-daughter shopping trip. Katie has spoken out about her shock after the images were released online, saying she was “horrified” when she saw the photos and has since decided to seek medical care to understand her recent weight loss.

The former glamour model’s sister and co-host Sophie asked her to talk about those photos with her and Princess at Selfridges during the most recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show.

We didn’t see a photographer, Katie said, “First of all, we were running to the train because it was raining down.” They have doctored the pictures, so I was horrified when I saw them. That’s not how my face looks. I’m aware that Jesus possesses my gauntness. However, I do appear to be in pain, which is why I’m visiting the doctor tomorrow. I’ve said to people “Yes, I know I’ve lost weight,” but I don’t know how many times, and it’s obvious why I did it.

Then Sophie inquired: “What is the real story behind it?” Katie responded, “I know what your family has to say to me, but that is not what the papers are saying. We are all aware of how difficult it is to sort it out, and I’ll let everyone know as soon as I can. However, because I look so bad, it has had an impact on me, and I’ve had filler applied to my face, which I didn’t want to. Katie added, “I just want to put on some weight, I’m not,” adding that. Everyone is aware of what I eat because I consistently consume what I want.

Katie revealed earlier in the podcast, titled Weight Loss Scrutiny, that she had scheduled a doctor’s appointment and would be taking a blood test as Sophie, Sophie’s sister, had questioned her about how much she had cared for herself. What else have you been doing besides the non-surgical surgery, and have you been eating well? Sophie asked the model. Have you been taking vitamins lately? Have you ever drank water? I’ve been drinking a lot of water because I’ll have a blood test tomorrow, Katie said.

A source just last month revealed that the Mirror Katie’s family was concerned for the actress’s health after she was seen posing awkwardly with friends at Yasmin Oukhellou’s business launch event. A source close to Katie acknowledged that the couple had “sincere” conversations about the star’s well-being and acknowledged that they had weight loss concerns. According to a source who spoke to the Mirror, “They do share their concerns with Kate and have open, honest conversations with her about her mental health and weight loss.”

“Those conversations are private within the family, and they are a result of love, care, and support. How much Kate has already been through and overcame is something that people too frequently overlook. She is actively working on her well-being, which is and always will be. Our source responded to alleged friend Kate’s recent claims that her weight loss was “absolutely devastating” and was “absolutely unnecessary.”

It reduced a very real, very personal journey to a sensationalized narrative because it was cruel, hurtful, and profoundly insensitive. The impact those words might have, not just on Kate but also on her family, was not taken into account.

In another episode of the podcast, mother Katie revealed her “tough” week with son Harvey, 23, as he returned to his temporary housing ahead of his planned move away from his mother. Along with autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, and cortisol deficiency, Harvey has a number of health issues. And the mother revealed that the transition was unsettling after staying with Katie recently.

Katie stated in the most recent episode of her podcast, “I’ve had Harvey as well, and he’s been bad. He threw my bedroom furniture around because he didn’t want to go and cried because it made me think of when he was younger. You are aware of the enormous bulbs I use in my tropical lights, which I have two. And then suddenly his iPad completely destroyed, breaking it beyond repair. Then, because he was that bad, they weren’t even going to take him in the car to the train station. Then, I’ve been receiving messages from his location all week. He has popped two of the enormous, large windows out and broke another iPad he got because they made them – not bullet-proof but Harvey-proof. All because I asked, “What caused it,” and they responded, “Because he wants you.” He simply enjoys spending time with me at home.

Then, according to Katie, Harvey “just goes to Little Hampton and Mummy” next week because he detests it there and wants to see me there every day. So Harvey has had a difficult week.
