A male comedian allegedly boasted about his sex life and showed his co-stars videos of him engaging in sexual behavior at an event, according to Kathy Ryan.
At a concert, a comedian admitted to seeing her and other comics’ sex tapes, according to Katherine Ryan. One female co-star was clearly shaken after the male showed them the videos just before they went on stage, according to the presenter.
Katherine explained that the man was “very powerful,” “very famous,” but “not British,” even though she didn’t name him. The incident occurred in an artist’s green room, where the performers hang out before jumping onto a stage or TV studio floor. Katherine, 41, stated on a podcast that she was one of the few women on the bill at the time the incident occurred.
Katherine remarked, “He was very famous, very wealthy, and very powerful. The Canadian actor continued, “He was in a room on a big show.” Only three women, perhaps three, were present on that bill. And there was a young female comedian in his early stages who was standing next to him, and he was with the entire group of lads, recording videos and photos of himself having sex with women.
He was showing him some particularly intimate photos and videos, he said. Many of these videos contained his penis. The mother-of-two continued, “She felt very uncomfortable about that, and she came into my dressing room to say, “Oh, I didn’t like him showing me that,” and she is about to take to the stage.
She is relatively new. Even at the time, I was relatively new, but I remember being in the minority and being one of the minority. Image-based abuse refers to giving someone someone a sexually explicit image or video of them without their consent.
Sharing sexually explicit content via text message, photo, video, or other medium online is prohibited. Private materials are those that typically feature things not seen in public, as defined by a new criminal act.
According to the government, this includes images that depict an individual’s pubic region as well as those that include images or videos of them posing provocatively or sexually.
The host continued by letting the hosts know that there are things that men can do in every green room but not women. We are unable to board a night bus. We can’t sleep on the floor when four other comedians start out frequently, she said.
Katherine continued, “We have children that we have to look after, and then we get fans who, like, could kill us.” She later praised comedian Nikki Glaser, who, according to Katherine, makes light of the difficult circumstances that women in the field encounter.
She would make a joke about it on her Instagram, beginning with “Nikki Glaser, who is doing amazing in America and is hosting the Golden Globes for the second year in a row.” We’ll be out at 8 p.m. because we’re always by ourselves at night and have to publish our location. It’s a little unique.
Katherine has also made a statement about male behavior at this point, though. She claimed that she had a “strange lone-wolf male following her” in her early years of work, frequently taking the train, and that some of her interactions were “scary.”
Katherine has been contacted by The Mirror for comment.
