Comedian and TV star Katherine Ryan has landed a major new gig, and it’s sending Real Housewives fans into a frenzy.
The award-winning comic has been announced as the host of The Real Housewives of London reunion special by Hayu in an Instagram post.
The streaming service shared a photo of Ryan confidently walking across a London crosswalk while surrounded by Buckingham Palace guards, with the caption: “It’s time for us to answer the call for who is hosting the #RHOLDN reunion…please say hello to Katherine Ryan.”
The 41-year-old woman gushed in a dream about taking on the new position and expressed her delight. She said, “Pinch me and tell me this is real! ” in a statement. As a huge fan of The Real Housewives franchise and Hayu, I’m eager to see Juliet, Amanda, Karen, Juliet, Panthea, and Nessie in the hot seats at the end of the season.
“It’s a dream job for me to host the Real Housewives of London reunion show, and I’m honored to be able to represent the fans and provide a female perspective in the analysis of all the emotions, conflicts, twists, and revelations!”
Fans shared their joy online quickly, with RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Bimini Bon Boulash gushing, “SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.”
