Kate Ferdinand has been reunited with her stepchildren after relocating to Dubai for a brand new life with husband Rio. The former TOWIE star, 34, has given fans a glimpse into their new day to day after swapping London for the glitzy United Arab Emirates city.

She appears to be settling in well after uprooting their home across the world to the city she met Rio in back in 2016. They have moved to the exclusive gated community of Al Barari with son Cree, four, and daughter Shae, two.

The couple also have Rio’s three children Lorenz, 19, Tate, 17, and Tia, 14, whose mum was Rio’s first wife Rebecca Ellison, who died from breast cancer in 2015. Lorenz and Tate have decided to stay in the UK as they both kickstart their football careers.

Following in their dad’s footsteps, the teens both play for Brighton with Lorenz on his first professional footballing contract and Tate playing for the Under 18s team.

However, they have taken a break from their football careers to reunite with dad Rio and Kate in their new home. They joined the sweet family reunion as they took in the sights of Dubai.

The family went for a dip in the Gulf and even took part in some gruelling gym sessions. Kate gushed: “A little weekend update. The best time being reunited with the boys. We’ve all missed them so much.”

She then added the quote: “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” While Kate and Rio have shared lavish photos of their new home, the reality star revealed last week that the move was stressful for the whole family – including their beloved dog Ronnie.

Kate shared a photo of Ronnie as she revealed: “I don’t think I’ve told you all but Ronnie has been in heart failure for a while now, so moving was a big worry for us as I wasn’t sure if he would be able to deal with the stress.

“He’s been settling really well but walks are limited because of the heat so this morning we went to an indoor play park and he absolutely loved it.”

Confirming they had finally made the big move former TOWIE star Kate said: “A new chapter, a fresh start – because if we don’t try, we’ll never know.

“Ahhh! We’ve talked about this for so long, and now it’s finally real… we’re here, we are making a new home in the place we met!” The family had lived in Bromley, where Rio worked as a pundit for TNT Sports.

However, the Manchester United legend quit this role for the move overseas. Their new neighbourhood is home to other celebrity families, including The Real Housewives of Dubai star, Caroline Stanbury, and her husband and ex-Real Madrid footballer Sergio Carrallo.
