Controversial rapper Kanye West took to his X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim he had an ‘incestuous relationship’ with his cousin when he was a minor
Kanye West has claimed he had an incestuous relationship with a male cousi when he was a child. While promoting his new song, COUSINS, on X/ Twitter, he said he and his cousin used to “act out” what they saw in pornographic magazines. He also shared a snippet of the song, which featured blurred visuals and semi-pornographic images stitched together.
In the song, the controversial rapper could be heard rapping about when he found adult magazines in his late mother’s closet. Detailing the inspiration for the song, he claimed it was about his cousin and the alleged incestuous relationship. The All Of The Lights star did not reveal the name of his cousin.
He claimed in the tweet which has been viewed by 4. 4 million people: “This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t “look at dirty magazines together” anymore.
“Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.
“My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d**k till I was 14 Tweet sent. “
Kanye has never disclosed who the cousin is but previously brought up a cousin during an interview in 2018. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he said: “My cousin is locked up for murder and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him. “
Five years ago, Kim Kardashian mentioned the incarcerated cousin in Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project. The only thing known about the cousin was the fact he was convicted of murder at the age of 17.
Speaking to Marc Howard, president of the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice and director of Georgetown University’s Prisons and Justice Initiative, Kim explained: “[Kanye’s] cousin has a double life sentence for a murder that he committed when he was 17. “
Kanye has been hitting headlines in recent months after making misogynistic, antisemitic, and many other offensive comments on Twitter.
