Following the passing of two of its members on Wednesday, the Kano State House of Assembly is now in mourning.
Hon. lawmakers who passed away are. Hon. and Aminu Saad Ungogo, who both represented the Ungogo Constituency. The Kano Municipal Constituency’s representative, Sarki Aliyu Daneji.
Hon’s death Ibrahim Adam, the Special Adviser to the Governor for Information, first made the announcement in a post on his verified Facebook page.
Allah, forgive Hon. Adam wrote, “Aminu Saad Ungogo, a member of the state assembly who represents the Kano State constituency,”
Hon. passed away hardly an hour later. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Kano Government House’s director of media, confirmed Daneji.

He wrote, “Innalillahi wa inna ilaihirrajiun,” in a Facebook post. Hon. An hour after his counterpart’s passing, Kano Municipal representative Sarki Aliyu Daneji passed away today.
Condolences pouring in from across Kano and beyond after the two lawmakers’ nearly simultaneous deaths shocked coworkers, government officials, and state residents.
Details surrounding their deaths were still undetermined at the time of writing this report.
Up until their passing, both lawmakers served their constituencies at the House of Assembly in Kano.
