As social media continues to be dominated by the trend of looking back ten years, DJ Snake and Justin Bieber are back in the charts with their massive hit from 2016.

Justin Bieber might have been teasing new tunes lately and a potential concert soon, but it’s an old school banger that is beginning to set the charts alight once again. The singer, 31, is reportedly in talks to play a huge comeback gig at a British festival later this year.

And it would come nine years after he last took to the stage in the UK. A song the super star teamed up with legendary artist and producer DJ Snake to release a year earlier in 2016 has found now itself making waves on Spotify a decade on.

The song amassed billions of streams and left a lasting impression on popular and electronic music all over the world after becoming one of the most influential global crossover records of its time. It topped the UK charts at the time, and it continues to be a favorite on many playlists today.

It’s perhaps unsurprising that it has since re-applied to the Spotify Global Top 50 as the 2016 trend has a firm grip. What song’s title is that you haven’t already guessed?

Let Me Love You was a hugely popular tune by DJ Snake, featuring Justin Bieber. The popular creator has also created hit tunes such as Lean On with Major Lazer and MØ, one of the most streamed songs of all time.

Other well-known international hits include Ozuna, Cardi B, and Turn Down for What with Lil Jon. The return of DJ Snake’s song with Bieber to the charts is a testament to the legacy of cultural classics in the streaming era as it continues to influence contemporary music on a global scale.

Snake recently released a new album he says “goes beyond an album tracklist”. Speaking of the launch, DJ Snake – whose real name is William Sami Étienne Grigahcine – said: “I grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard.

Nomad is a tribute to that upbringing, which is always moving, always learning, and consistently blending what the world has to offer. Beyond a track-list for an album, Nomad goes beyond. It’s a cultural statement.

Bieber, meanwhile, continues to tease new tracks. In September he surprised fans with a new album. SWAG, his seventh studio album, was released back in July after a four-year hiatus from the music scene. ‘DAISIES’, the standout single, topped the UK charts as Bieber has now claimed his eighth No 1 single.

He now has the most Official UK Number 1 singles, which puts him on the all-time list. Along with The Rolling Stones, Sam Smith, and Oasis, he also drew level.

And he made it clear that a follow-up was imminent shortly after his release. In recent months, his private life has been a hot topic in addition to his music.

The singer has been alleged by his eagle-eyed fans that they liked a 2016 photo of himself kissing Selena Gomez, Selena Gomez. The father-of-one, who wed Hailey Bieber in 2018, allegedly liked a post-part and later deleted it.

Long live the bride and groom! is the phrase in the comment that reads “Vivan los Novios.” in Spanish . Justin apparently clicked the heart button on it, claims the author.
