Since being baptized by pastor Carl Lentz in 2014, the pop star has been open about his Christian faith.

Justin Bieber has shared a deeply personal message admitting he sometimes feels “too flawed” to be part of God’s bigger plan. The singer, 30, shared this recent reflection on his Instagram story, revealing that there are doubts he wrestles with on a daily basis.

He remarked, “Every day I wake up believing that this beautiful story of life might not be suitable for me to use my flaws.” Yet, God consistently uses me (flaws and all). In the same way, He uses you! Our lives are significant. God has a plan for us. Justin continued to state that he is choosing to lean toward grace rather than perfection.

Nothing prevents us from experiencing God’s good plans for our lives, the Sorry hitmaker continued. I’m choosing today to let God’s grace and love rule my day and give me perspective rather than to make my day a show of myself. If you want, join me.

The post comes just a week after actor Stephen Baldwin — the father of Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber — sparked concern by sharing a now-deleted Instagram reel asking followers to pray for the couple.

Victor Marx, the founder of All Things Possible Ministries, wrote the original reel, which called for Justin and Hailey to experience “wisdom, protection, and to draw close to the Lord.”

The Biebers’ faith has previously been in the spotlight. Their relationship, public image, and even decision to wait until they were married have been influenced by their Christian beliefs, which Justin later claimed was a result of his rededicating himself to God.

“If I could go back…I probably would’ve saved myself for marriage,” Justin admitted in a Facebook Live. “I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul.”

Following a chance meeting at a church conference in 2018, Justin and Hailey leaned on one another’s shared faith to withstand the pressures of fame and their relationship.

Hailey, who grew up in a Christian household, has spoken openly about how important it as for the couple to have a spiritual foundation. She told Elle : “It’s the most important part of our relationship, following Jesus together. It’s everything.”

They have also benefited from some significant health scares thanks to that foundation. Justin was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022, which temporarily paralyzed a portion of his face.

Hailey’s brain had a blood clot at the same time, and she was admitted there at the same time. Justin continued to discuss how Jesus was his anchor throughout the entire situation. In the midst of the storm, the pop star declared to his followers, “He is with me.”

Their journey of faith is something Justin explored in his YouTube documentary, JUSTIN BIEBER: NEXT CHAPTER, four years ago. The YouTube Originals special offered an unfiltered glimpse into the pop star’s relationship with his wife and faith in God.
