
In Ibadan, Oyo State, another tragic tanker explosion occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, killing two people. This time, it occurred in the country.
This most recent incident raises the alarming rate of tanker explosions in the nation, underscoring the urgent need for better safety measures and regulations.
The incident took place at 5:00 am near Gabster Mega Petrol Station in the ancient city of Oluyole Local Government Area, close to Gabster Mega Petrol Station.
The tanker driver and his motor boy, who were killed in the explosion, were so badly burned that no one could recognize them.

At 5:15 am, Akinwande reported that “we learned about the fire at Gabster Mega Petrol Station, Orita Challenge.” The situation has now been managed.
Since the start of the year, there have been significant losses of lives and property in Nigeria as a result of fatal road accidents and fires.
According to Persecondnews, 98 people died on January 19, 2025, while a tanker was crashing at Dikko Junction along the Niger-Kaduna states, scooping fuel from it.
At least 56 patients were transported to various hospitals for treatment because they had burns of various kinds.
