After leaving Arsenal, midfielder Jorginho has joined Brazilian side Flamengo.
The 33-year-old was set to leave the Gunners when his contract expired on June 30 but the London club claimed they had reached a “mutual agreement with Jorginho to end his contract with immediate effect.”
The Brazilian national footballer, who signed for Flamengo on Friday before the Fifa Club World Cup, which begins on June 14 in the United States, would now be able to complete his move.
Jorginho made his debut at Chelsea in the 2018 Premier League, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Uefa Super Cup, and Fifa Club World Cup.
In January of this year, he made 78 appearances for Arsenal.
