Big Brother’s Jordan Sangha has said he’s ‘tired of being blamed’ for his breakup with Henry Southan. The reality star, 27, won the first series of the hit programme after being voted the public’s favourite when it was revived by ITV2 in 2023, and left the house with £100,000 to his name as well as a new boyfriend in the form of housemate Henry, and the pair documented their relationship across social media.

In the months that followed, they even started up the Club Sandwich podcast together but called things off in April this year, and, on Sunday, Jordan made a rare comment on his Instagram about the split but did not go into the mysterious details of it all.

On his Instagram Story, he wrote, “I am sick of being held accountable for the breakup,” against a background of black. I am aware of what has occurred and continues to do so. That’s all”.

The TV star, who worked as a lawyer before he shot to fame on Big Brother, did not elaborate further, but in a post that came just hours before, he spoke of his reluctance to use social media at present.

He stated, “I can’t really be a ***** with social media atm, but I must appreciate art in Wetherspoons,” while writing over a picture of some artwork in the British pub chain Wetherspoons.

Henry left a heartbreaking message to fans on his own social media shortly after the split, captioning it: “Hello, I just wanted to say a sincere thank you for all the kind, thoughtful messages today. I’m making an effort not to look online in excess because it makes me anxious.

He continued, “Truthfully, I’m heartbroken,” in the post. It’s heartbreaking to see my first relationship come to an end. Although today has been one of my life’s most difficult days, I’m optimistic that things will get better over time.

I’ll just say that I loved deeply, stayed true to myself, gave it everything I could, and I’m currently suffering a lot as a result. I’m again grateful for your kindness. More than you are aware of, I suppose.

He later confirmed in a statement that he had split from Jordan. Henry wrote, “After much thought, Jordan and I have decided to leave our respective ways,” as originally reported at the time. We are both hurting a lot, but we are confident that this is the right course. W

“Thank you for showing us the love and support you’ve shown us. Please allow some time for us to think informally as we go over the details.
