Meg Jones, England’s 15s player of the year, has received a nomination for the World Rugby Women’s Award.

In addition to leading England to its 12 matches in 2025, Jones has played a key role in the Red Roses’ preparation for Saturday’s World Cup final, including a standout performance in France’s semi-final defeat.

The 28-year-old center faces New Zealand’s Jorja Miller and Canada’s Sophie de Goede, both of whom won a Grand Slam at this year’s Six Nations.

During Saturday’s World Cup final, the award will honor both the player of the year and World Rugby’s breakthrough player of the year, coach of the year, and referee.

English players, including current champion full-back Ellie Kildunne, made up four of the previous five women’s 15s players of the year.
