Brennan Johnson has agreed to join Crystal Palace for a fee of £35 million.

The transfer could be finalized when the full medical examinations are finished by Friday, when the 24-year-old Wales international will be chosen to play for Palace against Newcastle on Sunday.

Before making a final decision regarding the move, Johnson met with Eagles manager Oliver Glasner and other members of the club’s hierarchy on Thursday, as revealed by BBC Sport.

He became Tottenham’s top-rated target on Monday after Palace and Palace agreed a $ 35 million deal.

Johnson, who led Tottenham in scoring with 18 goals last season, was made known last month by BBC Sport to reveal that the club was open to selling him.
