Jock McDonald, a legendary member of the punk band The B*****k Brothers, passed away in a tragic swimming accident at the age of 69.
Jock drowned on July 26, 2025 in Bundoran, Ireland, and drummer Pat Pattyn confirmed the death via social media.
“I have to share this terrible news with you with my heart with my deepest regret,” singer Jock Mcdonald passed away last night in Ireland, apparently in a freak swimming accident.
His children requested this information from me; his family and the B*****k Brothers are shocked; we will make an effort to locate this location, but it won’t be simple. Give us some time before calling us, my friend; please don’t try to call us right now. He wrote, “I will miss you.”
Devastating supporters rushed to social media to share their own sincere condolences to the performer after the announcement left them reeling.

In 1979, he founded the band, which later released nine studio albums, four live albums, and 28 singles.
