As she prepares to welcome her twins, evading mother Jesy Nelson has begun a sizable home renovation project.
The 33 year old former Little Mix sensation announced last month that she and her on-again, off-again beau, Zion Foster, 26, are expecting two bundles of joy.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the singer shared that the exciting refurbishment of her £3million Essex mansion – her home since 2019 – is underway, captioning her post: “House Reno has begun!! Preparing for the babies”. Jesy’s lavish abode features a huge modern kitchen, grand chandeliers, a cosy alcove log fireplace and an impressive collection of glittering awards.
Just last week, the star flaunted her growing baby bump during a romantic Valentine’s Day outing with her boyfriend. On her Instagram story, she also included a sweet photo of Zion from their private dinner. In the picture, Jesy is seen opposite the rapper, who’s sporting shades, a white vest, and a brown cardigan. She captioned the photo: “My date for the evening (love heart eyes emoji)”.
Following rumors about their closeness in 2022, the couple first revealed their relationship in January of 2023. After dating for 18 months, they split in August 2023 due to their age difference and contrasting mindsets. Jesy and Zion made hints about a potential reunion with a cozy pregnancy announcement photo despite their recent breakup five months ago.
The former X Factor sensation has been open about her challenging pregnancy symptoms. She admitted to a fan that she’s been dealing with “constant vomiting” because she had gotten twins. The star admitted: “I’ve been very sick where I’m having twins so constant vomiting 24/7. But other than that feeling very blessed”.
Jesy was shocked to learn that she was carrying twins despite being excited about the possibility of growing her family with Zion. During an Instagram Q&, A, a follower quizzed: “OMG! How are you? How did you discover that you were twins? Were you surprised”?
To which Jesy responded: “Very, very shocked… it wasn’t planned but I instantly felt happy as soon as I saw that I was”. The pop icon has been open about her journey to becoming a mother, and it’s been suggested that she might collaborate with ITV to create her own reality show to give viewers a firsthand look at her early years as a mother.
