Jennifer was mocked by angry viewers for acting like a “snob” and appearing to “ignore” Cole while preparing for her Glambot performance at last week’s Golden Globes.
Jennifer Lopez was accused of being “rude” toward E! director Cole Walliser poses for the Golden Globes red carpet last week. Following the backlash, Cole has now defended the singer, telling fans to “calm down” and that he didn’t take her actions personally.
Jennifer was mocked by angry viewers because she appeared to be an “ignore” Cole while he prepared her for her Glambot shot and for acting like a “snob.” In the viral video, Cole, who is in charge of making slow-motion glam selfies of celebrities with a high-speed camera, greets Jennifer and turns her back to him.

Cole explained in a video that was posted on Sunday that the actress was moving quickly and that Jen’s pose was “unfortunately” positioned so that she was facing away from him. The Canadian director claimed that “internet needs to just calm down.” “I didn’t take it personally. At the time, it didn’t feel impolite.
He continued, “I think there are a few things that have fueled this idea. One, she’s just getting started. The carpet was stowed. She is prepared to enter. She was aware of her actions. She entered the position. Just unfortunate that she was facing away from me in that position. She is looking away while I’m talking to her, but she’s getting ready to move.
I was aware of what she was doing, Cole continued. I was anticipating her arrival. I was anticipating it. We were just surviving. “That was not rude at the time.
Cole continued to say that it is up to the celeb to pose for the Glambot. Anyone who doesn’t stop [for the Glambot], he said, “I already like you because you’re taking the time to do my thing, and this is generous of you because you don’t have to do it.” Sometimes people who land on the Glambot don’t know what they’re going to do. And I’m not just talking about JLo; I’m also talking about a number of famous people from the past.
Cole emphasized that the famous people he runs are working to “promote their show, to be a guest, to be a presenter.” After the clip was released, one disgruntled follower told Jennifer to “buy some manners,” while another accused her of being such a snob. She didn’t even look at him, another said.
It is not the first time Jennifer has been praised for her professionalism. She handled a tricky situation incredibly well during a gig last November. Jennifer was praised by her fans after an unwelcome guest made its way onto the stage with her during an emotional performance.
The Hollywood star kept her cool and carried on her performance seamlessly despite a huge cricket crawling up her body and onto her neck while she was on stage singing. Dressed in a black mesh top with a criss-cross design to the chest, Jennifer, 56, looked incredible while the insect was visible crawling its way up her body in a video posted to social media by a fan.
As Jennifer finished her singing, she was delicately flicking the bug away from her neck to make it appear like it was a part of the performance before exclaiming, “I was tickling you. “Impressed fans shared the clip on social media, praising her for always being the professional despite the creepy intruder,” she said.
