The Golden Globes are known as Hollywood’s booziest bash, and to mark the occasion, several A-list celebrities have been seen attending pre-parties this weekend

The Golden Globes kick off in a matter of hours, with Hollywood celebrities set to find out if they have won any awards during the ceremony.

The event, which comes amid political tension and industrywide uncertainty, will be hosted by Nikki Glaser, who said the event has always tried to put pomp over politics. As a comic known for her roast appearances, Nikki has promised to go after A-listers in her second time hosting.

The Golden Globes kick off at 8pm EST (1am UK time) on CBS while streaming live for Paramount+ premium subscribers. E!’s red carpet coverage begins at 6pm EST (11pm UK time). The event won’t be streamed or watched on UK channels.

But ahead of the ceremony, a number of pre-parties have been organised – and celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Kate Beckinsale and Paul Mescal have been spotted attending them. JLo and Canary Black star Kate, as well as Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, were seen at the Vanity Fair party.

Among those attending the BAFTA Tea Party were Adolescence actor Stephen Graham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Amiee Lou Wood, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Hudson, Erin Doherty, Kristen Stewart and Mark Hamill. A third event, the 2026 Annual Movies for Grownups Awards, was attended by the likes of Gladiator star Paul, George Clooney, Sharon Stone, Jessie Buckley and Alan Cumming last night.
