Actor Jason Segel and his professional dancer girlfriend, Kayla Radomski, are officially engaged after two years of dating. The 45-year-old How I Met Your Mother actor proposed to the 34-year-old dancer at a stunning setting at The Huntington Library in Pasadena on Monday evening.
The duo, who were first linked in 2023, made their red carpet debut last year during awards season. The couple were seen at the Golden Globe Awards as she proudly supported him when he was nominated for Shrinking. They were looking head over heels for each other as they took photos before the main ceremony.
According to an insider, the proposal was captured by a photographer hired by the actor. They added to MailOnline that the the teary-eyed couple enjoyed a private dinner together in the Huntington Library’s rose garden ‘ after she said yes.
The Mirror have reached out to Jason’s representatives for comment.
The pair were first linked together after they were seen holding hands at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights in October 2023.
When they made their Golden Globes debut, Kayla took to her Instagram to share her appreciation for him.
“A beautiful day celebrating my incredible man. @jasonsegel this nomination was so deserved”, she said.
“I have seen the work and dedication you put into not just your work, but everything you do. You continue to amaze me every single day. Anyone who gets the honour to know you is so lucky. I am beyond proud of you and cannot wait to see all that is ahead. I love you beyond words!! “!
Kayla is a dancer who came fourth in the fifth season of So You Think You Can Dance when she was 18. She has also worked as a backup dancer for singer Taylor Swift, performing during the superstar’s performance of Me! with Brendon Urie at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
Posting about Jason on Instagram, Kayla thanked him for “being the best man this lady could dream up”.
She alongside a photo of the two: “We wouldn’t be here without your hard work and determination. I am always amazed watching your drive and love for what you do.
” You inspire me every single day. I cannot wait to continue to watch you thrive and create more magic throughout your life. Thank you for loving me and being the best man this lady could dream up. I love you. “
