James Haskell ‘splits’ from new girlfriend just days after going public

James Haskell, the actor who made headlines, and Sara McLean, his new girlfriend, are said to have split two days after making public.

The pair reportedly have strained their relationship after the England rugby union professional was captured on camera holding hands with the other when they went to watch the races on day two of the Cheltenham Festival on March 12.

James is not yet fully settled down. According to a source, he wasn’t really ready to tell Sara the truth about their breakup.

They continued, noting that James “wasn’t thrilled” that they were photographed holding hands by the racecourse after the former couple started getting more “touchy feely” after the drinks started flowing. According to reports, the couple were later accused of no longer being married as a result of a “lover’s tiff.”

James has also been accused of having “interest” from other women, who were equally unfazed by the photos of him and Sara, the star of Big Brother, in a tender moment.

James has been enjoying the best aspects of London’s dating scene because he is going through a difficult divorce. He may not be ready to take a serious step back immediately, they said. The insider, however, claimed that despite their disagreement, Sara and James were still “still chatting loads” and that the pair had “real chemistry,” which cryptically stated to The Sun, “They may well be back on again by next week.”

James was married to Chloe Madeley, the daughter of Richard and Judy, before beginning their romance with Sara. The former couple tied the knot in 2018, gave birth to Bodhi, their daughter, in 2022, and called it quits in 2023. However, James was romantically linked to 34-year-old Helen Barclay, an executive in the advertising industry. After meeting for more than a year, it was said that they would start to take things seriously in January.

According to reports, the couple had been spending a lot of time at each other’s homes as well as on more dates with one another. As James and Helen were enjoying a romantic date night at Knightsbridge restaurant Clap, the rugby player appeared to have made a public admission to the romance by making comments on the mum-of-two’s Instagram photos and even calling her “fit” as his flirtatious online antics became more risky.

Chloe reportedly struggled with complicated feelings related to James’ relationship at the time. According to a source, “She was a little surprised at first that James had moved on so quickly.” She continued, “She doesn’t want to be with James or go back at all; she is over it,” but Chloe found it to be a little grating to see them first.
