Jade Thirlwall, a former Little Mix star, gave a fantastic performance on Radio 1’s Big Weekender in Liverpool, so much so that her fans decided to leave after her slot.
Jade Thirlwall has caused chaos at Radio 1’s Big Weekend after her incredible set where she played her chart-topping hits including Angel Of My Dreams and IT Girl. The former Little Mix star drew in thousands of fans in Liverpool’s Sefton Park, and after her set, many decided to leave the park as they snubbed Mumford And Sons who were playing on the Main Stage.
A source told The Mirror: “Everybody left after Jade. Mumford And Sons may have been on the Main Stage but Jade proved she’s a dark horse of the industry. She headlined the New Music Stage but after leaving her set, thousands of people decided to leave.
Nobody could compare Jade Thirlwall to her after her set, the festival-goer claimed. She performed Little Mix hits and her own solo bangers, including FUFN (clean version), IT Girl, and Angel of my Dreams, so it was obvious that she was the real closer of the festival. “
Another participant in the audience described Jade’s shame not being one of the artists chosen to perform on the Main Stage. After Girls aloud and Spice Girls, Jade’s proportion of the British girl band was a joke, so it seemed silly to include her on the New Music Stage.
One of the largest crowds leaving HAIM to see her perform. She undoubtedly demonstrated her ability to hold her own. After that, everyone was heading up to Mumford and Sons. She should have been on the main stage, it was obvious, because she drew a sizable crowd in.
It comes after Jade announced the release of her first solo album, which marks one of her most significant personal accomplishments since Little Mix’s breakup.
The singer took to Instagram earlier this month to share the news with the public, captioning: “THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!” My debut album is due out on September 12th. A striking image of Jade’s album artwork, which appears to be her, was displayed at the announcement along with a four-piece outfit and pose.
After achieving fame as a member of Little Mix, the four-member girl group that was formed on The X Factor in 2011, Jade has already spent a decade in the spotlight.
The band went on to become one of the most popular girl bands in the country, winning numerous Brit Awards and doing international tours. Jade began her solo career in May 2022 after the band took a break.
She has already won two Brit Awards and a spot at Glastonbury, which she has already achieved on her own. Fans were excited to hear about her debut solo album. Bring it on, someone said, “I can’t wait”! Another gushed, “Everybody MOVE SHE’S SAVING THE MUSIC INDUSTRY,” in addition.
The artist made fun of the fact that Pablo Bowman, Lostboy, and RAYE will be featured on her debut album. In October, Jade will also begin her first tour of the UK and Ireland.
She stated to the audience, “I’m beyond excited that I can finally announce the release date for this album. It’s been years in the making.” That’s SHOWBIZ BABY! is a very special achievement for me. as a body of work, and I’m eager to show it to everyone. It’s a dream come true to be able to perform the album live later this year. See you all for a tour”!
Jade has recently discussed the more difficult aspects of being in the public eye in an interview for ITV’s The Assembly, despite receiving praise from music fans who are thrilled by her new music. Interviewers from autism, neurodiversity, and learning-disabled interviewers, one of whom interrogated Jade about the particular pressures she encounters in the music industry.
The singer responded, “I’m going to be very open about this. Do I want to be pregnant next if I’m going to have kids? I get asked this question the most, and it irritates me the most. Is pregnancy possible? However, I find it to be extremely strange when people inquire about this because they are unsure of my circumstances.
You’re not sure if someone isn’t ready or can’t have children, she continued. I think it’s a really invasive question, and I really dislike being asked it.
Jade also made an open statement about the scrutiny she has recently received from the public for her appearance, saying, “I’ve probably put on a little weight since I’ve become a solo artist, and people have been speculating a lot about whether she’s pregnant.” and I’m like, “Girls, I just had a piece of garlic bread,” I’m obese. Do you comprehend my definition?
Jade acknowledged that she once felt like she had “sold her soul” while reflecting on her early years in the music industry. I’ve been repurposing my soul, much like Thanos with the stones.
