After quitting their marriage earlier this year, EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne are said to be completely committed to saving their union.
Looking more loved-up than ever on a romantic holiday to Gran Canaria, Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne are determined to have a “drama-free marriage” now they’re back together, a source says. EastEnders actress Jacqueline, 32, and former TOWIE star Dan, 34, announced their shock split and even sold the family home earlier this year, but now the outlook appears brighter for the couple, who were pictured enjoying some end-of-summer fun in the Canary Islands with their daughters Ella, 10, and Mia, seven.
According to our source, the pair are working hard to maintain their romance this time around and remain unbroken. They “have worked so hard to put things back on track,” the source told us. Making such a significant statement about their split was a big deal, especially since they were aware that their children would likely ask about it in class or see it one day. They didn’t take it lightly, therefore.
They always come back together, but something about them just keeps them that way. When you add their love for their children to the mix, the chemistry between them is incredible. Both of them are fully committed to having a drama-free marriage from now on, and the stakes are really high for them.

Rumors of Dan’s alleged infidelity have frequently tarnished the couple’s eight-year marriage, and when they announced their breakup in March and demanded “respect and privacy,” it appeared there was no turning back. They emphasized that their daughters would continue to be their top priorities when they were “surrounded by love and care.” Above all, Jacqueline and Dan are concerned about their children’s best interests.
Suggestions that everything was wrong first surfaced when their six-bedroom “forever home” went on the market in the summer of 2024 despite them having to deal with three years of laborious renovations. It finally sold for £1.6 million this spring, after it was reported that they had both taken their engagement rings off.
Rumors were rifling at the time that Dan had “secretly” purchased a bachelor’s pad behind his wife’s back and had already left the family home. However, Jacqueline, who portrays Lauren Branning in EastEnders, refuted the speculation, telling her fans that the apartment was an “investment.” She continued, “There is no big feud, and we are talking constantly, but stop looking for one,” before adding, “Stop looking for one.”
After making their way back to Mexico in April, a make-or-break trip there in April seemed to be what was to come, and now our source claims that Jacqueline wants to try again with Dan because she is so determined to keep the family together.
They’ve even been the subject of speculation about whether or not they might renew their engagement. Although it’s been discussed before, a large number of people believe this to be the right time. They have put in a lot of effort, and Jac has done a lot to help her learn to forgive him. She will fight valiantly to keep her family together because she is a tough cookie.
Dan has grown up a lot over the past few years, and he wasn’t the first person to lose sight of that fact. He has. However, he has already learned his lesson and wants to “clean up” her life.
While their relationship seems to be in a far healthier place at the moment, our source says the couple are hoping that Dan’s recent problems with a “ weird stalker” do not impact on the family’s safety or get in the way of their rekindled relationship.
In July, Dan claimed he had been the target of a campaign of “harassment”, which escalated so much that he was forced to switch off social media comments. The reality star even told how he blocked nine accounts in one day after a barrage of abuse and GIFs were allegedly posted on his Instagram account.
The abuse is concerning because Dan needs to be active on social media to support his recently launched tanning salon in Benfleet, Essex, as well as posing a potential threat to the couple.
“Jacqueline knows Dan has to put himself out there to make his business work, but in an ideal world he wouldn’t,” said our source. “She knows that social media can be a bit of a trap for some people when it comes to messages and DMs, and she doesn’t want anything to harm them or what they have together.”
“This stalker thing demonstrated that it was impossible to really avoid unwanted attention,” he said. Who knows how long that can last when he needs to engage in social media for work, despite the fact that he has turned off his comments? It’s a challenging situation.
In 2013, Jacqueline and Dan first started dating. Ella and her parents were expecting in February 2015, and they tied the knot the same year. In June 2017, they wed in a lavish ceremony at a manor house in Cheshire, where numerous celebrities and friends from the past attended.
Dan said at the time, “I am the luckiest man in the world to marry the woman of my dreams.” Mia, their second daughter, was born in June 2018.
The pair celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary and start with a luxurious hotel in London on June 1st, 2018. It’s anticipated that this new chapter of their romance will continue to grow because Jacqueline has previously called Dan “my best friend in the world”…
